"Good representation of Group of Seven Canadian artists"

Impressive gallery with good old European masters and Canadian famous painters.
A lot of space wasted on modern art nonsense that anyone could emulate.
The atrium space is very impressive stretching the whole width of the front of the AGO.
"Full of history and nicely preserved historic place in the heart of Toronto"

One of the oldest building in Toronto. Small but historical house set on one of the busiest corners of Toronto. Excellent example of houses before the large Metropolis of Toronto existed. Beautifully restored and maintained. Inside is a preserved era from the 1800s with furnishings, carpets and lighting all from the original house.Fantastic place, amazing guide with a lot of...
If you're moving between Downtown and Chinatown/Kensington Market, try to route your walk through this smart little park. The park itself is well maintained and a nice green spot in the heart of the city with plenty of people relaxing in the grass and kids enjoying the play facilities. It is however, greatly enhanced by the neighbouring Ontario College of...
On our tour of Toronto we were shown the daring futuristic building of the Sharp Centre for Design. It is located 3 blocks to the west of University Ave and easily accessed from the downtown Toronto (about 10 minutes' walk from our hotel, Shangri La Toronto).
Today, the building inaugurated in 2004, is a widely recognizable city landmark. The structure...
I took my 8-yr-old daughter and niece for her birthday. Went to the downtown location first then I was sent uptown to a community center. No one in the community center knew anything about such lessons. After finally getting through to a staff member from Aquamermaid by phone, I was told someone would be waiting in the change room (they...
Was in Toronto for 4 days, on the 3rd day we were wandering around and stumbled upon cafe crepe. We were seated quickly, served quickly and it was gorgeous. Wished we'd time to go back again before we left but next time we're in town we'll be back in for more delicious crepes
Great venue for entertainment and dining. Very reasonable prices and no cover charge. The band this night was playing a mix of R&B and jazz. Eat at the back if you want to carry on a conversation while the band is playing.
Had a few drinks before viewing the Diane Arbus exhibit. Sat at the bar with my friend and she had a martini and I had a glass of wine. Service was friendly this time which I appreciated. It would’ve been nice to see the bottle of wine that I was drinking opposed to just receiving the class.
We enjoyed dinner at the Village Idiot last night. Everyone enjoyed their food and the portions were a good size. Recommend the shepherds pie, nachos and poutine. Prices are reasonable and our server was attentive. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of this restaurant.
Karine’ was delicious. Breakfast all day, the menu is filled with tasty delights. The counter woman, maybe the owner is amazing! Excellent service! Huge vegan and gluten-free menu also Non vegan options.
