A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's history a more lively presence here than anywhere else. Having been originally founded around a popular worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of Vancouver's best micro-breweries, creative cocktail joints, and corner bars can be found in this area. Classical charm suffuses its many vintage boutiques and the brick-built structures that an army of creative professionals call home.

Waterfront Station is the southern terminus of the Seabus, often called the 'ferry' from Vancouver to North Vancouver. It's a historical building which includes access to not only the Seabus, but other transit options including the Skytrain, WestCoast Express, and Translink buses. Lots of food and shopping options - busy place.
I always enjoy a visit to Spirit Wrestler Gallery when I'm in Vancouver. Everyone here makes me "feel at home" (that's an understatement!) and encourages me to take my time and enjoy the art of the Northwest Coast. Artists both young and chiefly are represented in a relaxed setting that simply can't be beat...in a word, comfortable. Enjoy the friendly...
Recently moved from Gastown, but very accessible by public transit. Lots of beautiful art pieces, and also other Indigenous-made goods such as jewelry and wallets. Relaxing to browse the gallery. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Visited Vancouver for 6 days and tried as many coffee shops as I possibly could since I'm a coffee lover and there is a coffee shop around every corner. Revolver was my number 1 choice out of the 7 I visited. The young man that served me was exceptional! After explaining the menu choices, I told him to surprise me...he...

Uwe Boll's Vancouver restaurant is a great place to find German & Austrian cuisine - the Schnitzel tastes excellent, the restaurant has an elegant flair, the staff is really nice and the host himself is very accomodating. I'll definitely come back!
This was a trip favorite. First of all, they get a huge thank you for paying such close attention to allergies. Second, thanks for using texting to let us know our table was ready. Third, the atmosphere is casual and fun. Fourth, super friendly waitstaff. Fifth, tasty, warm the soul food. Need I say more?!
