What a great little place to visit, we caught the train from downtown to the Science Centre and spent some time there before catching the ferry to Granville Island where we walked around the markets and went to the brewery it’s so accessible to everything before catching the ferry back to the other side of the creek where we caught...
My visit was specifically to see the old locomotive 347. The chap on volunteer duty the day I visited was completely submerged in Canadian railways and the trains that ran/run on the lines. They are in his blood. For a person who likes trains, this was an education for a foreigner like me and I wasn't the only one. The...
We spent time here and had an enjoyable time. The volunteers are very passionate about the museum and the engine, they have oodles of information to share. There are some good displays and photos to peruse, definitely worth a visit
"Everytime I have been to Vancouver I’ve been to this place."

Everytime I have been to Vancouver I’ve been to this place. Service is excellent, the ambiance. Went with a big group of friends. Ordered oysters, sushi, fish, drinks everything was excellent. Would gladly go here everytime I go to Vancouver.
Easy to place the order and great covid 19 safe pick up protocol. I had the crispy pork belly BLT, my husband had the pulled lamb with wild mushrooms. We debated over which one was better!Either way, the fresh bread and toppings made for a very yummy lunch while sitting just down the road by the water!
I just celebrated my birthday at Cioppino. When we arrived there, there was something wrong about our Car. Pino, the owner and the chief, was extremely helpful, arranging everything for us and making sure that we could enjoy our dinner worries-free. The food was wonderful, and personally I would say, the best in Vancouver. The service was great as well....
"A fantastic and delicious meal by the waters of False Creek"

This restaurant experience was a real treat. We were seated by the windows looking out at False Creek as the sun set. The food was spectacularly presented, inventive and divinely delicious.
We started with Tuna Tiraditos and Crab Causas, which were excellent. The sablefish and bok choy with hazelnuts were also very tasty. Leave room for the Strawberry Mont Blanc...
Clean rooms, great service, and cordial staff. The breakfast at La Pentola was quick, hot and very tasty. The location was very central within minutes of the YaleTown strip which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
This quaint "boutique" hotel is great for the area - close walking distance to many venues. Bar and restaurant connected are a definite PLUS. The room was not spacious but not cramped - Clean and comfortable.
