Things haven't changed much since I was here about a year ago. Friendly people selling cute inexpensive souveneirs made by local artists. Tourists - get some local momentos without breaking the bank or emptying your wallet.
"Tourists - Make It A Point To Find This Hidden Gem!"

Vancouver has a lot of art galleries - a lot! Vancouver has a lot of art galleries selling local interpretations. So, why go to the trouble of finding this one, all the way at the north end of the "Drive", you might ask?
This particular gallery has an atmosphere about it that is somewhat different than many others - the...
Friday date night and ventured to East Vancouver Parallel 49 Brewing. We arrived at 7:20pm and it was really busy. We looked for seats before ordering and none available. We proceeded to order first. We ordered:
- spicy chicken with waffles fries - husband loved it. Ate it so fast. I went to wash my hands and when I returned...
As I'm sure you know, all restaurants in Vancouver are closed due to the Coronavirus, but they are allowed to provide a takeout service. Eating at Absinthe is a delight, but today we ordered takeout and we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Please go and support this restaurant, and others, during these crazy times.

The restaurant does not accept reservation and we waited for about 45 mins to be seated. We ordered sushi and sashimi which are very fresh and delicious. I particularly like their presentation...
I love Pizza and it reminds me of the laze evenings of the many years I spent in France. The pizza here is good especially weighing it up against north american standards. Went with friends and had a good time, had the marinara and capriciosa and both were good.
When I come to visit my family this is my go to place. I live in Kelowna, wish they would consider opening there too. Food was amazing as usual. Service was amazing too. Staff are always happy and make you feel like a guest in their home rather than a customer.
