The San Bernardo is a small colonial era church in front of Liverpool and Palacio de Hierro near the Zocalo. The interior has mainly bare walls but with pretty gold accents. Today it seems a bit out of place on this block, but it makes me imagine what this neighborhood must have been like say 300 years ago.
"Hotel is not adjacent to the airport, but approximately a 10 minute drive"

typical big hotel. Restaurant was large and breakfast was easy and good. Room was fine, but nothing special. Hotel is in a commercial district and I didn’t notice any restaurants within walking distance. Front desk staff spoke English. The staff were efficient, but hey, that’s not hard when it appeared to be only 20% occupancy.
