Unnecessarily rude, antagonistic and defensive. Unwilling to listen in point of fact ordered me out of “his” cafe. As an enlightened Cordon Bleu chef, restaurant reviewer and author of 18 cookbooks as well as a nutritionist I know whereof I speak. I’ve lived here 20 years and 15

Hi Susanne, The moment you approached me asking for the manager i knew you were the rude American lady that my awesome staff warned me about two days prior, so my quick judgement came about from good communication between my staff and I. My staff are amazing, intelligent, positive souls and i have every right to be defensive of them against your negativity in our workplace. You have no right to call my staff "wrong" (as you repeatedly called us) for serving the skinny milk we serve to our great customers (not you). I personally do not drink the milk of another species, but i have been told that real skim milk tastes the worst. I opened bamboo 4 years ago and have not once been questioned about the "skinny" milk we use. If you read bamboo's positive reviews on this forum you will see comments like "best coffee in town", "great coffee" and "friendly staff", but its obvious you are the type of person who gravitates toward the negative in life. It is so pathetic that you make a big fuss about such a minor thing given the current state of the planet and the health of its inhabitants. Perhaps if you volunteered some time to helping less fortunate people you would overcome this. I feel sorry for you (and your yoga students) as you are not "enlightened" as you describe yourself. The grey mop on your head indicates you are old but in your case wisdom has not accompanied age. Please spare us the dark cloud that is your ora and stay away from bamboo.
