Dear Jackfish28, Your review had so much detail - and we appreciate it. We're pleased that your expectations were realized - and even surpassed. Indeed, it sounds like you and your family really enjoyed so much of what we have to offer. The Alley has only been open for a few months and is getting rave reviews for the Italian food, gelatos, crepes, coffee, and drinks. I couldn't tell from your review if you were able to enjoy a meal in our fine-dining venue called LT Steak and Seafood, but I hope you did. The popovers are amazing. The thing about coming to Miami Beach is that there is usually something fun and exciting going on - in an area close by to the hotel, since our Lobby entrance is located right on Ocean Drive. Yet our location, away from the fray, allows our guests to enjoy that buzz of those events, while staying in a place where relaxation and solitude are still possible. Good to hear you had that experience. It's always fun when people comment on our toiletries by Malin and Goetz. We will soon celebrate our tenth year of service in Miami beach - since we opened The Colonial Wing of The Betsy in 2009 - and we've been a partner with Malin and Goetz since then; we believe in using natural products. We installed the shower dispensers so the product is easy to access and is always full for guests. Thank you for your feedback.
