A popular but run down softball field in the heart of Astoria
I was down here as a volunteer cleaning up the surrounding field last week. I love coming down here and taking pictures of the waterfront behind the diamond. Over the years Whitey Ford Field has fallen into disrepair and the baseball diamond is in poor condition. Yet, the field…
