We are currently staying in this beautiful resort. You will not find a better hotel on this island. What makes it special? It has a rainforest surrounding it and is on the edge of the beech. It is relaxed and friendly and the staff are the best I've come across in a long time.…

Dear Liz D, You have made my day! Thank you for choosing our resort for your current stay at Langkawi Island and thank you for your review on Trip Advisor – wonderful! Regarding our resort location, you are right! The Andaman is further away from the main touristic areas…and because so many of the trees and fauna were protected and maintained from the very start, the wildlife had no reason to move. Notwithstanding that, Datai Bay recognized as the 9th best beach in the world by National Geographic. We think that this combination of 10 million year old rainforest and coral sand beach is a little bit magical and certainly a little corner for this island. It is kind of you to compliment our associate and I am glad to know they were friendly and welcoming – just as it should be! Please allow me to say once again how grateful I am towards your feedback… and it is kind of you to recommend our resort to your friends and family, appreciated!
