Warner’s Bros Movie World is my favourite entertainment park in Australia, but this visit was a large disappointment. Half of the attractions and rides are closed, and half of the retail shops did not have working air conditioning – very disappointing. Very rude staff at the stunt show, saving on customers buy not offering any proper bags when you buy in shops – even for large items, 5d movie – quite unfriendly staff again. I have a feeling that after a safety failure of the major competitor – Dream World, Movie World management decided not to invest money into customer services. On the bright side is the atmosphere is still there, some rides are great, very good selection of souvenirs and memorabilia. My relatives spent $200 each for a week’s pass and were deeply disappointed by an extremely low of working rides and cold and disinterested customer service

We came to movie world 20 years ago, and came back with our kids and their kids. It was still great, not as many characters out roaming, and a lot of rides were closed which was a shame. Still had a blast, something for all ages.

Had a good day here although I do feel it’s better if you have younger children, we have 16-18 year old boys and there are 3-4 big rides but queues over an hour for each, then rest are family/kid rides. A few rides were closed and a few food places were also closed today. Had fun but wouldn’t come again with teenagers.

Amazing as always, characters were friendly and approachable. Went with 4 adults and 2 x toddler grandsons. Limited rides for under 4 year olds but they still had a great time. Entertainment was good and inclusive for the whole family. Purchased the 1 day photo package, which was worth the money. Husband and Son-in-law enjoyed the VIP stunt show.

We visited as a family with 2 kids, 9 & 7yrs. It was a Tuesday just after the April school holidays. We arrived at about 10:20am and found a carpark near the entrance with no problem. We had packed a backpack with water bottles and a packed lunch/snacks. Our bag was not checked upon entry (I'm giving a bonis for this fact). We rented a locker for $12 by The Green Lantern and used this for the day so we could walk around with empty hands. We arrived just in time for the Tom & Jerry 4D show (screens every half hour) which was a great first activity. The Stunt Driver show was about to start when we came out so that was perfect timing. Everyone loved this! We thought we would ease in with some kids rides, we all loved the Road Runner coaster, shame it doesn't do two loops, we actually came back to do this again later in the day. We were disappointed to find there were only TWO thrill rides open, Batwing & The Green Lantern. Queues were pretty short all day but there really wasn't a lot to do. A bit underwhelming. We did get a great coffee at lunchtime which was a nice surprise.

Lots of ride closures, so we didn't need a whole day there, but for what we did get to do, we had a very nice time! While we live in the theme park capital of the world, this place doesn't really compare, but the Green Lantern coaster was really cool and unique, and we also really enjoyed Superman Escape and Batwing Spaceshot for a great view of the park. I was incredibly disappointed the Scooby Doo coaster was under renovation because that was my main motivation for coming, but I hope it'll be heavily improved. It seems like a great park for kids, especially with their massive driving school section. However, I did not enjoy Tom and Jerry's 4D experience (very jolty) nor the DC Rivals Hypercoaster (too intense for me and nothing special), or the Hollywood Stunt Driver show (toxic fumes RIGHT in your face!), plus the Justice League 3D ride was really hot and weird. It looks like this park is going to opening a lot of new rides soon, so I hope to visit again in the future. I also have to mention the amazing customer service and the free wheelchair rental! I can't stand for more than a couple minutes at a time, so guest services offered me one of their complimentary wheelchairs to use for the day, which included a wristband that allowed me to skip the lines so my partner and I got everything done in 4 hours. I'm only mentioning this for other fellow disabled guests – please please don't abuse this helpful system for those of us who need it or else it will get taken away!

Sooo many rides weren’t working! I got one ride all day, because the queues were huge with only a few rides working. Others in our group got 2 or 4 rides but that’s all, from 10-3.30, and had to wait in queues for an hour and more. No warning given when buying tickets and no discount. Disappointed! Also, we paid $50 for unlimited photos for the 2 roller coasters our group went on and when we got home only one roller coaster photo was on there, for $50!

Disappointing, won’t be going back. Most rides were closed. We asked about that on the way out and were told they were closed for maintenance. Didn’t see anyone working on them though. Food is expensive. Paid $18 for a cold hot dog with salty chips and a soft drink. The bin chickens hanging around need to be controlled. On the plus side, the 4D movie was great and so was the stunt cars.

Absolutely fantastic morning with the kids, was surprised that it wasn't too busy. Got there just before 10am for the kids section, no waits for the bumper cars, train ride, roller coaster. Walked around checking out the Christmas displays, was loads of staff around and rides operating smoothly. The stunt cars are a major highlight for my boys and it gets better each time- especially funny today 😄

We had a nice time at Movie World. We visited on a Monday at the end of August 2024. Unfortunately not all attractions were open which meant we did not spend an entire day at the Park - not enough to keep us interested. The Stunt show was entertaining and professional but could have benefited from some crowd warm up whilst we were waiting. The roller coasters that were operating were good but no immersion for customers who were waiting in line (unlike theme parks overseas). A real missed opportunity. Staff members were friendly and professional which was nice. If the park is going to be open (and at full price), then most attractions should be open, no matter the season. If you want to offer less attractions, then the price should reflect Lunch was delicious though - at a reasonable price.
