We visited The Top of The Rock about an hour before sunset and then took in the views whilst the sun went down. It was pretty busy and difficult to get some space but everyone was polite in taking turns for photos. There wasn’t too much seating but there was a cafe area that sold food and drink. We used the cafe, that was good, and waited until dark for more photos. My son and wife done The Beam and what a waste of money… 90 seconds up turn and down and then try to sell you photos all for $50… bit of a rip. Aside of that though, was pretty good.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Lenny! We're glad you enjoyed the views and found the cafe to your liking. We appreciate your feedback about The Beam and will take it into consideration. Your insights help us improve our offerings. We hope to welcome you and your family back for another visit!

When I was in New York last time, I had to go to the Empire State Building. The views were incredible, but this time, we decided to go to Top Of the Rock. Let me tell you, the difference was amazing! The views were absolutely breathtaking. We went at 4:20 pm, just before sunset, and we’re so glad we made that choice. Watching the sunset in New York City is simply unreal, and I highly recommend it to anyone! The only slight downside was the line to get back down to the main level after the sunset. We ended up waiting around 25 minutes.
We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the incredible views from Top of the Rock! Watching the sunset over New York City is truly a magical experience. We appreciate your feedback about the wait time and will work to improve that aspect. Thank you for sharing your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back soon!

Viewpoint located in the famous Rockefeller Center building. The viewpoint is at the top of the building and is outdoors. It has several levels from which to observe the island of Manhattan with a 360 view of the whole environment. No obstacles to vision, thanks to its glass wall. Reservation is necessary before day and time, which can be obtained through the machines located at the entrance of the building.
Hi osquitar73, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with a review of your experience. I am pleased to hear that our team made your experience pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

The observation deck at Rockefeller Center is an amazing spot with an incredible view of New York City. From the top, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, including famous landmarks like Central Park, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty. The atmosphere is special – there are great facilities for taking beautiful photos and enjoying the view at any time of day. The staff is friendly, and the lines move quickly. This is one of the best places in New York to take in the city from above, and I highly recommend visiting it!
Hi Magnolia, Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the breathtaking views and friendly service at our Observation Deck. It’s great to know you were able to capture beautiful photos while taking in the unique atmosphere. We appreciate your recommendation and can’t wait to welcome you back for another memorable visit!

With my family we stayed on this observatory during our last vacation in New York. We booked a time near sunset and after watching a video about the construction of the skyscraper, we went up. Wonderful views of the city, ritual photos on the beam too funny and beautiful sunset. I recommend it.
Hi Sandra, thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you and your family enjoyed your visit, especially the sunset views and having your photo taken on The Beam. It's great to know our video added to your experience. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for more amazing views in the future!

Nice observatory, recommended in the evening (given its night hours). Beautiful area (near Rockfeller Center) and great to reach from Times Square. At night, only the internal lights of the room annoy, which are reflected on the windows of the balcony: I would recommend a darker environment.

Fantastic visit, not too busy and great views. We paid extra for the beam and the sky lift which was a great extra, yes it was an extra cost but worth it. Staff were friendly and got you through quickly. I would highly recommend going here over the Empire State which was overcrowded and seemed disorganised.

Selected by my wife who had studied all the observatories in the city, it was really beautiful. The 360-degree view on the roof of Rockfeller Plaza is really fantastic and better than many others starting from the Empire that is nicer to see than to stand on it. Looking south, beautiful views of Midtown with Empire (really spectacular) taking over. Unfortunately you can see little of the Chrysler Building but for everything else it is breathtaking. Looking north instead, you can see everything Central Park. The vision really blows your mind. Also on the Top there is a nice bar that turns the observation deck into a real rooftop, so you can enjoy a cocktail or a drink while admiring the most beautiful skyline in the USA and beyond.
Thank you, Re! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your visit and the breathtaking views from the rooftop at Rockefeller Plaza. It’s great to know that the experience left you speechless and that you appreciated the bar for a perfect touch. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience soon!
