The perfect spot to stop and relax with amenities, covered BBQ, picnic facilities, toilets, dump point and water. The Reserve includes the iconic Poppet Head and Neeld's Hut as well as The Evolution Mining Liebherr Bucket, Eucalyptus Stills and Junk art Sculptures. Panels are located throughout the reserve with plenty of information on our past. Take a walk around the beautiful canals or even take out a canoe. Our dog park and dog skill area, Mirri Ngurang is also located here.

Running of the Bull interactive mural is painted on the Splatter Gallery wall. West Wyalong Main Street was once the bullock track in the gold digging era. When the surveyor came to lay out the Main Street in West Wyalong, the owners of the claims refused to move and the road was made following the bullock track.

Joining the townships of Wyalong and West Wyalong, the walking/bike track journeys past interesting outdoor art, several parks with barbecue facilities and play equipment and Holland Park Pool. The walking track is about 4.4 kilometres from the Wetlands to Cooinda Reserve and another five kilometres to the West Wyalong Golf Club. Perfect for cycling, jogging, bird watching or a leisurely stroll. The cycling/pedestrian track called the Green Corridor Walking and Cycling Track starts at The Wetlands and heads west through Cooinda Reserve past the RSL Memorial Walk to McCann Park. Along the way you will find interesting facts on panels provided as well as sculptures and art. If you feel energetic continue the walk from McCann Park through Lions ark and the Sal Yards all the way to the West Wyalong Golf Club. Parts of the track is seasonal as it forms part of a water course. Please do not use the area when wet.

The Yindyamarra display was developed by Bland Shire Council in conjunction with the West Wyalong Local Aboriginal Land Council utilising a AUD100,000 Stronger Country Communities grant from the NSW Government. Additional funding support was provided by the NSW Country Arts Support Program - Create NSW. The stunning collection stands permanently at The Wetlands and features a number of significant indigenous artefacts and symbols which were all painted by local artists. The lead artist was West Wyalong’s Kheely Turner from Bundyi Yadhaa while indigenous students from Ungarie Central School Ethan Robb, Allora Vinecombe, Joseph McKenzie, Madi Vinecombe, Archer Hale, Dean Hale and Mitchell Collins painted many of the artefacts with the help of Jon and Rhonda from Didgeridoos on Main. Meanwhile, a number of local students from Wyalong Public School have their handprints set in concrete on the slab surrounding the exhibition. Jon Juda supplied the magnificent Digeridoos. The Yindyamarra display was officially opened in 2021 by Bland Shire Council Deputy Mayor Rodney Crowe and New South Wales Aboriginal land Council Wiradjuri Region Councillor Leeanne Hampton and followed by a brilliant performance on the didgeridoo from Charlie Dodds.
