Interesting and informative. The only criticism is the price. At the end of the day, you’ll really only be looking at seahorses for about half an hour (if you linger). As a farm I am sure the tours are not the main source of income so I’d only be going back if the prices came down (50% reduction would be a good start). I think a few more exhibits would also help

My wife and enjoyed a very interesting and informative tour around Seahorse World. We had a very passionate guide who gave an interesting commentary as we wandered through the numerous tanks. There were a large number of seahorses of various shapes and sizes and any fears that the tanks were overloaded were quickly dispelled. It was interesting to see the progression from the barely distinguishable seahorses as juveniles through to the fully grown ones. If I had one minor criticism it was that we could not spend more time in the first viewing room as another tour was about to start their tour. Overall, a very interesting place to visit and get to know the seahorse species better in a well presented environment.

Really cool experience. Guided tour only and recommend you book online as they book out for tours and school groups. Many types of seahorses and saw them being fed. The guide was very informative and the aquarium that had octopuses and hand-fish was a nice experience. Also were able you hold a seahorse. Well worth taking the tour
We really appreciate the positive review :)

A great 45 minute tour with a knowledgable guide who presented information in a clear and interesting manner. Fascinating to view seahorses with a range of ages as well as the various species. We also learnt how quickly they grow and how the male carries the eggs. Well worth a visit!
Thankyou for the great review and we are so glad that it was worth the visit to Beauty Point.

This is an interesting, informative and unusual experience. The tour guide’s enthusiasm was infectious. She was informative without weighing us down with information and her sense of humour was a plus. We saw the various stages of sea horse development and finally were able to actually hold one- very gently. Good value for money.

Next to the platypus house, so an obvious next visiting choice. Interesting talk, before the tour, about the breeding of these delicate creatures with a view to them ending up in aquarium tanks. You can't believe how many there are, especially the tanks with the tiniest seahorses - absolutely thousands of them. You see them at all stages of their growth - the are cute at all ages! An enjoyable visit.
Thankyou for visiting Seahorse World and for the review, we really appreciate the positive feedback.

Seahorse World is a truly unique experience. It is a working hatchery of various types of Seahorses, and of the almost extinct Handfish. The tour is guided, so you learn a lot along the way. You see the Seahorses in the actual breeding tanks, at various stages of growth. At the last tank, the largest, you are allowed to carefully pick up a Seahorse. Entry fee is good for what is offered. Don't miss out on Seahorse World - Recommended.
