    Great venue, great wines
Enjoy visiting this winery. It is a lovely spot and the wines are very good. They offer a generous free wine tasting across a good selection of Timon of their range. Can recommend anything red from here.
Thank you for visiting Langmeil Winery and we are glad you enjoyed our red varieties.

    Langmiel a gem
We visited Langmiel winery on Saturday August 17th. The cellar door was warm and inviting with a fire in the hearth. The staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved that we could choose our own tastings with wondering information from the staff. It was a wonderful afternoon and if you can only visit one winery in the Barossa make it Langmiel. Bravo, we will be back 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for your kind review and the 5 stars.

    Excellent experience
Sooo much fun! We walked in and received a complimentary wine tasting in front of a fireplace. Our host was sooo attentive, conversational and knowledgeable about the grapes of the region. She even shared the wind “bible” with winemakers tasting notes. 10/10 recommend

    Gorgeous Winery
This was our first stop of the day. A gorgeous old winery with old Buildings in the premises. Langmeil vineyards have the oldest Shiraz grapevines in Barossa and the world. We sampled lovely wines . The staff were super friendly and helpful. A must stop if you are in the Barossa.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback.

Our Barossa Valley Cellar Door is situated along Para Road on the banks of the Para River. Built in the 1880’s the Hoffmann Cellar is one of the original Barossan wineries. Carved into the hill to allow the natural course of gravity to influence the winemaking process, the small winery still stands with its beautiful grand archway entrance. In the heart of the Cellar Door the stunning red gum bar stands proudly and has been the centrepiece for tasting some of Australia’s most awarded Barossa Valley wines for many years. It continues to welcome visitors from all over the world to enjoy a tasting and create memorable moments. While the old stone building and verandah are a lovely setting to enjoy a glass of wine or two, it’s the surrounding lawns and gardens that make the Peter Lehmann winery really special. On a sunny day the picnic tables scattered under the swaying red gum trees are the perfect place to relax, share a bottle of wine and a weighbridge platter with friends and loved

  • Charles Melton Wines Hotels
Since the first vintage of Charles Melton Wines in 1984, this small Barossa Valley winery has gained both national and international recognition for its fine red table wines. The wines move from a light red, ‘The Rose of Virginia’ through to Australia’s premier Rhone-style red, ‘Nine Popes’. Charlie Melton also makes small quantities of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sparkling Shiraz, and is the only Australian producer of a vin-santo styled dessert wine, Sotto di Ferro. Charlie was one of the first to recognize the value and tradition of the Barossa’s old vineyard Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro. At a time when others were pulling out vineyards of Shiraz to plant more fashionable varieties, Charlie was convincing farmers to keep their historic vineyards. He was one of a small group of winemakers who helped retain the viticultural heritage of the Barossa.
