Willowbank Raceway is located 30-45 minutes west of Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia . We offer a year-round program of drag racing entertainment for the whole family. Major events are held annually, with a variety of features including Top Fuel dragsters, the nitromethane-burning kings of the sport. Selected events will also offer nitro-burning Funny Cars. Other Australian championship Professional categories to be seen at Willowbank include the supercharged sedans of Pro Slammer, Funny Cars and Dragsters in Pro Alcohol, carburetted sedans in Pro Stock, nitro-burning Top Bikes and Pro Bikes. Various combinations of the premier Professional vehicles feature at Willowbank Raceway's major events, while all Professional, Semi-professional and Sportsman brackets are showcased at the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, which is held in June each year and is the largest championship drag race held outside of the United States. Willowbank Raceway holds over 100 events every year.

Cunninghams Knoll, opposite Queens Park on the main entrance to Ipswich, pays homage to the region's early European explorers as well as its convict history. Ipswich was once established as a convict station to mine Limestone to make mortar for the buildings being constructed in Moreton Bay Penal Colony (which would eventually become Brisbane).

This historical stretch of Brisbane Street bordered by Ellenborough and Waghorn Streets, has cafés, restaurants, vintage stores, clothing boutiques, a luxury massage/spa, homewares and collectibles on offer. You'll be impressed by the original shop façades and heritage buildings such as the Old Flour Mill Building, designed by renowned architect George Brockwell Gill, and now a retail centre.
