    Phenomenal glacier
Absolutely stunning glacier. Easy to get to via bus / tour from El Calafate, with well maintained and well signposted boardwalks around the area giving awesome views. Visitor centre has food, drink, gift shop and toilets.

    beautiful, highly recommended
the best part of our 3 weeks in argentina. we will go again and spend the whole day again. we were there from open to close. great to walk around and hopefully kayaking will be open next time we go. bring your own food. there is a small cafe and restaurant - we would rather in outdoors though to enjoy the view. we rented a car to visit so that we could stop wherever we wanted to. i know most taxi's offer this service too.

    Mind boggling
The guide I had was knowledgeable and made sure we had an interesting day. Its a long drive from El Calafate, so it was a long day but well worth it for the awesome sight of the glacier from land and boat. The 1 hour boat ride gave a different and fabulous view. My trip returned to the glacier after the boat trip for sn hour which I think was pointless as seen it before the boat trip. But cafe on site which was handy. Although cafe had limited sandwiches ( only 2 type) , so busy I had to eat standing up and long queue to get served. But complete awe inspiring day

    It's worth it
It is an excursion that you have to do in any case if you are in El Calafate, on your own or through an agency, obviously with a company you have the addition of explanation about the place, but it can be done on your own without problem . It is advisable to pay the entrance to the national park online in advance so that entry to it is speeded up, the prices are for foreigners 12,000 pesos, national residents 2,500 pesos, from 6 to 16 years old 1,500 pesos, students 1,500 pesos, provincial residents 1,000 pesos, there are discounts for second day of visit of 50% It has a cafeteria where you can have breakfast, a snack or lunch, and a souvenir shop. The lake excursions are separate, average 40,000 per person for 1 hour of navigation, find out beforehand which side of the glacier they are taking place, whether it faces north or south of the glacier.

    Unmissable and Indescribable
Contemplating the beauties of Patagonia, like Perito Moreno, is having the opportunity to contemplate perfection. We saw Perito Moreno from all angles...we did the trekking to climb it, walked along the walkways and navigated the glaciers (perfect) where we also visited Perito Moreno, this time on a catamaran and it's all soooo worth it! Unforgettable and indescribable! Highly recommended tour.

    The most beauutiful glacier!
Buying those tickets for Argentina has been one of my best ideas. We have visited glaciers previously in Canada (Athabasca) and Iceland but this is the most spectacular by far. The combination of the size, the possibility of seeing it all so conveniently, and the added bonus of the crashing walls of ice taking place before your eyes make it unique. And its beauty! We've not seen colors as vibrant in any other glacier. Seriously being face-to-face with such massive natural wonder left us speechless. Now we're planning to travel to Chile and see its glaciers (Expladores), but we have heard that they are not as imposing as the Argentinian one.

    Majestic
Majestic. Several of us went in pairs and I recommend taking the boat to walk near the glaciers, you feel peace when you see such a size. Bring a coat, gloves and a wool hat because if it's cold, it's pretty awful

Absolutely amazing & worth the visit!
This glacier is absolutely amazing! Definitely worth spending a day visiting this beautiful park. It’s about two hours outside of the city depending on the weather but tours can be organized with a driver. Winter conditions can bring serious snow and we had flights canceled the day after our visit, so give your itinerary space for mother nature is you go during their winter. Best experience and well organized park!!!

Great Family Adventure at Perito Moreno Glacier
Our family loved visiting Perito Moreno Glacier. The massive ice walls and cracking sounds were fascinating for the kids. The walkways offered safe and stunning views, and the boat tour brought us close to the glacier. It was a bit crowded, but overall, a fantastic family adventure!

    Astounding!
This is an amazing place to see the glacier up close without having to be on a boat. The various walk ways give you different aspects as you walk along. When we went it was raining hard and as this restricted the distant views it enlarged the cracks in the. This resulted in some fantastic calving right in front of eyes!
