We visited the waterfall as part of our day out with a car and driver from Hire Bali. It was the first planned stop of our day as we were told it gets very busy. Bit of a climb from the car park down to the falls but a number of stopping places for rests and pictures including an archway with the fall details. At the bottom near the holy pool is a small free changing room which we used and then a short walk over dome very unstable bamboo 'bridges' to get to falls and pool. Before the bridges is another small changing area although lots of folks were changing in amongst the rocks at the pool edge. The falls are superb and although it is recommended not io go beyond the barrier you can still fell the power over the water. The ground at the edge of the pool at the foot of the falls is really rocky so pool shoes are recommended however once in the base is light shale and easy to walk across. It was quiet when we arrived but soon got exceptionally busy. Well worth a visit and well worth going into the water but go early to avoid heavy crowds.

Stunning waterfall cascades over a cliff edge and runs off along the valley. It’s become a major tourist attraction, so there are loads of shops and warungs on the way down to the falls. For reasons beyond my comprehension the authorities have allowed a spa/restaurant to be built right next to the falls, attracting even more tourists. There are also far too many of the Instagram generation, who rather than photographing the beauty have to photograph their silly selves getting in the way of the falls. There are 200 steep steps down and the same number back, which makes for a hot and challenging visit if you are not fit, so be prepared. There are pools by the falls if you fancy a paddle, so bring your trunks. Lifeguard. You can also climb to the top of the falls if you want some more exertion. Entrance fee about $2 pp. Toilets and car park.

A visit to Ubud is not complete without dropping by to visit this waterfall. It appears pretty well on every day tour itinerary. Surrounded by clusters of souvenir stalls and eateries, there are great photo opportunities from the top looking into the river chasm. If you plan to tackle the steps going down to the base of the waterfall, keep in mind the climb back up is testing. The steps are uneven and varying in height providing the physical test. Well worth the effort though. You can also swim at the base of the waterfall. Surrounded by lush vegetation it is well worth spending some time here and enjoying a cold Bintang and lots of yummy food from the various eateries.

This waterfall has become very touristy over the years. Still worth a visit as it’s got all the amenities you need to spend a good few hours here. Very busy, but plenty of room for your own space. They do charge 30,000 IDR per person, whether you use the 200 plus steps to the bottom or not. Best to visit after heavy rains to watch the falls with maximum power. Bali’s glass bridge is located close by, & it’ll cost you 250,000 IDR to walk on it. Ouch!

Beautiful waterfall. There is a day club halfway down the hill so it is possible to spend the day in the area. The walk down is very steep so save some energy because you will have to go back up the same way. Very peaceful place with lots of photo opportunities.

Tegenungan Waterfall is a breathtaking natural gem, perfect for a refreshing escape. The cascading water, surrounded by lush greenery, creates a picture-perfect scene that’s both energizing and soothing. The well-maintained paths make it accessible, though the stairs can be a bit challenging for some. It’s a great spot to take in the beauty of Bali and cool off in the clear waters. It was quite hot so always stay hydrated. Since it's a popular destination, it does get busy for photos at the picturesque spots. It is advisable to carry a selfie stick to avoid long waits and plan extra time for the breathtaking taking pictures. An umbrella and sunblock is a must. Whether you’re looking to relax or snap stunning photos, Tegenungan Waterfall offers an unforgettable experience. This is a destination I’d highly recommend for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

Given that all the places in ubud are touristy, all but all, this is perhaps the least messed up. Go in the morning so avoid the crowds of tourists and it will look better, after 11 it is unlivable: in general it is not bad cold water but you can swim. There are bars, cafes and a beautiful bar with a less messy pool.

After each of us paid 30,000 Rupiah to view the waterfall, we felt cheated. It was not a high falling, thundering, multi-tiered waterfall. It was just another waterfall and not very big. We have seen better, being from Hawaii. Not even worth our time and effort to get a closer look. We were there for about 15 minutes.

Worth a visit. Gorgeous views. There's the main 15 meter high waterfall and a baby waterfall on the way down. Lots of cafes etc. If you want to chill. All in all it was worth the climb back up 😜 I'd suggest going early to avoid the crowds

Cooling waterfall, good view, but its a workout getting there! Small entrance fee to pay, will pass by many tourist shops & restaurants, wouldn't recommend of them for your meals, can go explore elsewhere. There are many steps leading down to the waterfall, so get ready to do some cardio! At the waterfall, there's only a small water area you can dip in, so I didn't find it worthit to get wet there.

Interact with long-tailed macaques in their natural habitat in the peaceful ambience of Bali’s lush forests. The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary is home to over 1,200 monkeys. As you walk alongside them, you can also check out all the elaborate temples in the area. While guides are always on watch, keep an eye on your belongings and avoid bringing both food and water bottles along. The sanctuary is open daily and an entrance fee is required. You might want to combine your visit to the sanctuary with other attractions in Ubud, including the rice terraces and ancient landmarks. – Tripadvisor
