A big thumbs up to the Team for organising the logistics of our charter. Upon finding out we were all new to snorkelling and never had any experience with diving or deep sea activities , our guide Sun demonstrated quick thinking and adjusted our itinerary in order to showcase the best experience each island would offer us. He was also very patient and friendly when teaching me how to snorkel , and guiding me with using the gear / equipment. We managed to grab beautiful views of the sunset and many fun photos of the experience thanks to Sun and his team! This charter was very well organised and I highly recommend it to anyone keen on checking out this wonderful side of Phuket :)

The overall package is the best you can expect. We went with Nicky. Hes a great and funny guy. He was constantly asking us what we want to do next and was very helpful. He has a lot of experience and was always helping us with the fotos. The months before with whatsapp Chat and email contact was very fast and always helpful too. The driver was on point for pickup and we had a short breakfast at the headquater of 5 star marine. Then we went on the day trip to all the highlights of phang nga bay and the hong island area. Cave visting, canoe experience, swimming, sightseeing at the james bond island, hong lagoon, hiking to the hong island viewpoint, swimming on the beautiful hong beach and on the kao lading island beach . ending the trip at a restaurant with the best thai food. The juciest beef satay we had and the coconut soup with chicken was very delicious. The fresh fruits platzer on our was back were also very nice and refreshing. Nicky showed us from the boat another two great spots, but we were too tired from the hike. So went back a little earlier. We would do the trip every time again in phuket. The boat is also very clean. It looks like a new speed boat. The seats were very clean and new. High quality and not worn. In Phuket this is the best option for your boat trip

My family did a full day private boat tour to Phi Phi island, snorkeling, James Bond island, canoeing around a beautiful cave and going into the cave after the water receded. It was gorgeous and so peaceful in there, then we finished the day by looking at the bioluminescence sea. The tour we chose was personalized for our request, we wanted to do all 3 of these trips on the same day and Shaun was very helpful from the beginning and answered all my questions promptly and adjusted the day trip for our needs. He kept us updated with useful tips before our trip, and closer to the trip, he sent weather reports. The transportation from our resort was comfortable with kind drivers. Our boat crew was incredible, they made sure we had the best day as soon as we stepped on the boat. Their kindness and expertise made our day. Thank you so much 5 Star Marine for the best adventure!

I don’t even know how to begin a review for such an incredible experience! I literally cried when the tour was over because it was everything I wanted and more! It was a dream of mine that they made come true. Right from the start of my planning 5 Star Marine was very responsive and patient with all of my questions and ideas. They really seemed to care about what I wanted and collaborated on how to make it happen. I booked a full day private tour for my friend and I because we had a short time in Phuket and wanted to see certain things that are generally not included in the same tour because of time and distance. They were in touch with me leading up to the tour and kept me informed of possible adjustments that might need to occur because of weather. They were honest and very clear with their costs which were extremely reasonable based on the service they provided. Our guide, Jimmy, was awesome! He and the rest of the crew really knew their stuff. They were friendly, knowledgeable, fun, attentive, and accommodating. We got to explore a couple really cool caves, see “secret” lagoons and mangroves. We snorkeled. We saw monkeys. We had gorgeous scenery and a refreshing lunch provided by 5 Star as well as complimentary fresh fruit. Near the end of the tour I thought “well this has been a perfect day so I shouldn’t set my expectations too high for the bioluminescent plankton” but it blew my mind! It was something from a fairytale that is completely indescribable! We couldn’t get pictures because of the lighting so that kind of magic gets to live in my memory. If you are still reading this I probably don’t have to say that I would recommend 5 Star Marine. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. I am so very grateful to Shaun and Jimmy and everyone else involved at 5 Star Marine in making this trip one of the very best days of my life. 🙏❤️

We requested a custom tour to pack in as many islands as we could within a day. Shaun was VERY helpful in helping us plan locations and figure out what was feasible and possible. Our tour guide (Nook) was absolutely amazing! I would recommend her as she's very family-oriented and friendly and is willing to accomodate needs within groups. She also helped take photos and make sure everyone was ok and feeling well-rested within the travel day. Amazing, amazing team. Boats are spotless and very clean as well. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Can't wait to see them again!

We cannot say enough wonderful words about this experience. It was easy to book with great communication from the team prior to departure. They organized private luxury van transport to and from our hotel and had a light breakfast waiting upon arrival. We had a private boat (there were 2 of us but it easily could have fit 10 people) and 3 crew members including our amazing guide, Jimmy. He was knowledgeable about the islands and made sure we were well taken care of. He was also very entertaining and offered to take photos and videos throughout the trip. The boat was stocked with plenty of water and juices, and since it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit platter. Our tour included snorkeling, canoe tours thru mangrove and bat caves, open water swimming, private island swimming, and a stop for lunch at a local island restaurant. 10/10 recommend!!

The trip was absolutely brilliant. It is the second time we have booked with 5 Star and both have been superb. Alex was our guide and for this trip he recommended Koh Panak where there are beautiful lagoons hidden in the middle of the rock formations and accessible only by very small caves- Alex knows them so well so was able to get us in and out safely. The crew were superb as well and it really was an outstanding experience.

I booked three trips: Phi Phi, Bioluminescence, and Koh Raya, for a party of 11. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about booking all three—what if the first one turned out to be a disappointment? Fortunately, our first trip exceeded expectations, and each subsequent trip only got better! We were able to tailor each experience to our preferences. The boat was fantastic, the team of professionals who took us out was exceptional, and the entire process—booking, payment, and the trips themselves—went smoothly. If you're looking for a private chartered boat experience, look no further! A special shout-out to our guide, Mr. Dream. We met him on our first trip and requested him for the remaining adventures. He was truly professional, efficient, and an outstanding guide.

We had an incredible day touring the Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga Bay with 5 Star Marine. Our tour guide, Noon, was so kind and did a great job taking care of us. The weather was a bit rainy, but it just made the sights more mysterious and kept the heat down a bit it really didn’t impact the tour, so I wouldn’t worry about weather getting in the way of a great time! The crew helped us avoid the crowds to get the most of our time on board. We especially enjoyed snorkeling and the canoeing and cave adventures. The lunch restaurant they recommended was great, we loved our meal and had an amazing coconut/banana desert. Noon also took tons a great photos of us that she sent us the next day—a really nice surprise! This was a highlight of our trip to Phuket, and a day in the water was a great escape from the high energy of Phuket. We highly recommend spending a day with 5 Star Marine on your visit.

We did the private Captain’s Choice tour. Our guide and crew were simply excellent, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Our likes, dislikes etc were discussed before setting the itinerary and it was made clear all was flexible to our wants. It was a good day!
