    Heaps of books
Thought we would check this place out & there’s plenty of books for all ages. Quite quirky art on the wall , but we were looking for local picturesque artwork unfortunately. But was worth a look at all the different categories of books , little play area for young ones and you can even sit & read a book .

    Great bookshop!
Great bookshop with an excellent selection of titles and friendly staff. Easy to find Australian authors section if you're like me and concentrating on those while on holiday here. Comfy chairs as well if there's anyone in your group who doesn't want to bookshop.

A step across the threshold into what a bookshop should be
Magic: just as a bookshop should be, taking you back onto a world of fantasy and imagination. Stepping through the door into a world of beautiful and creative artworks, and then to view such a superb selection of books was just so satisfying. The lovely lady was so easy to talk with and made us feel so welcome. It is worth the drive from Melbourne to visit this bookshop; we only wish we had more time to indulge.

    Nice vibe
Really nice vibe about this place, casual, eclectic and just a tiny bit crazy. I know it’s for the kids, but I had a real urge to get up on the stage/play area and muck about. Some nice community art, collections and a very diverse selection of books. My only negative is that I couldn’t see prices for most books, and I wasn’t about to ask about every book I picked up. Must be the way my head works - or doesn’t! New & used books, I wasn’t sure what was going on, but loved the space.

    A Hidden Gem
Tucked away on a quiet street, Blarney Books and Art is a charming little bookstore that feels like stepping into another world. The space is cozy, with corners that invite you to slow down and explore, and each section feels like its own little haven—whether it’s the cozy corner dedicated to children, or the eclectic shelf filled with obscure art book collections. The owner has a knack for discovering hidden gems, and it’s clear that every title has been chosen with thoughtfulness and care. It’s the kind of place that feels like a hidden secret, where every visit promises a new discovery. Whether you’re an avid reader, art enthusiast, or just someone in search of a peaceful place to unwind, this bookshop is a must-see.
