We’ve travelled to more than 150 countries between us, so it was hard to think of a unique place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. When my husband suggested the Kimberley, I was worried that we would be surrounded by grey nomads for our special break..! Then my husband shared Scotty’s @kimberleyspirit profile and I knew he was onto something. As soon as we landed in Kununurra, Scotty was waiting with his signature akubra and big smile ready to take us on an adventure of a lifetime. We headed straight to a helicopter flight over Revolver falls where we landed and swam along the crest of highest single drop waterfall in WA. It was magic. Over the following days, we went from adventure to adventure, “living life” as Scotty called it. Visiting hidden gems throughout the vast stretch of land known as the Kimberley, Scotty knew the place like the back of his hand. We hiked through beautiful valleys and hills, saw the incredible Bungles and Cathedral Gorge (at the start of dry season, so there were 6 of us!), ate a delicious three-course meal made of local Kimberley ingredients in the outback, watched the worlds best sunrises and sunsets (trust me, we’ve seen a lot) and saw more stars in those few nights than we have in 10+ years in Singapore. Scotty showed us the incredible rivers and waterways around Lake Argyle and we could understand why many come to this part of Australia and never leave. We experienced the Kimberley from the sky, land and water - the way it has to be done. And still, we barely scratched the surface. If you’re looking for someone to show you the real Kimberley, 10/10 recommend Scotty and @Kimberleyspirit. And thank you Scotty for everything!

What an incredible 9 days my husband and I spent with Scotty - Kimberley Spirit, touring the East Kimberley. From the moment he picked us up from the airport our Kimberley adventure began. Each day was planned out to make sure we didn’t miss anything and on some days Scotty even added an extra sunrise, waterfall or hike and one night cooked up a barramundi on the top of a mountain watching the sunset. We couldn’t believe the magnificence and beauty of everywhere we were taken and now understand that you really have to see it all for yourself. We can’t praise Kimberley Spirit tours enough! You couldn’t meet a nicer couple, right from the start with the booking process Scotty and Taminga communicated with us constantly right until the day before our tour started and made sure we had every possible detail. Thank you both for the best holiday and memories we could have ever wished for, the expert driving, the knowledge, the stories and friendship. We will talk about this trip for a long time.

5 star plus on this trip, I’d do 6 if I could.My mates and I are a second time round and had another blast. Scotty is AMAZING with his knowledge and experience with everything. The Kimbery really is a special place, can’t wait to get back here next year.

What an amazing experience, Scotty and the Kimberley Spirit team are simply the best. This was our second trip and just as good as the first. We spent last year in the east of the Kimberley and this year on the north west coast. Two totally different adventures that were far beyond expectation. Where do I start....I unfortunately missed the trip with mates in 2023 to northern WA and KST. So have endured all the amazing stories and experiences they enjoyed for the last 12 months. This year I wasn't missing our trip to NW WA. We enjoyed exclusive locations, access, accommodation, communication, transport and incredible experiences reserved for very few. Without Scotty and his teams coordination, knowledge and relationships we would've had a very vanilla trip typical to majority of visitors to this part of the Kimberley. I couldn't recommend KST anymore. I've been very fortunate to travel extensively and this has been by far the best experience in Australia. So much so that we have already started arranging our next trip for June 2025 with Scott and his team. Get onboard and start living your best life. Definitely formed a friendship for life with this great human and his team.

This was my first time to the Kimberley's & WOW what a magical trip. Pristine clear blue waters full of wild life.. Amazing sunrises, sunsets & moonrises - I've never seen colours in the sky like we experienced. Scott & the KS team's knowledge, love, admiration, respect for the environment and our Indigenous people is inspirational and extraordinary. So much so, that my family & I intend to support Scott and his cause year after year. He should be nominated for Australian of the year. What a legend.

We had an unforgettable family experience aboard Nyawoorn. Each morning, we were gently woken by the calls of birds, and throughout the day, we watched the landscape transform with incredible shifts of colour. The night skies were a spectacle of stars, occasionally illuminated by flashes of lightning, enhancing the beauty of the place. Our hosts, Taminga and Scotty, were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel like more than just guests. The houseboat itself was perfect—spacious, well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, and filled with thoughtful personal touches that made us feel truly cared for. We also loved using the water-based equipment to explore the surroundings and connect more deeply with nature. Our favourite spot was the top deck, where we enjoyed yoga at first light, meals throughout the day, board games, reading, relaxing, (sometimes snoozing) and stargazing. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under 10) joined a tour of East Kimberley with Scotty. From the planning stage, Scotty was very helpful and flexible, so we could arrange a tour to suit our limited travel time (since we coming from Hong Kong) and our interests. On the tour we had an amazing time being in the outback, crossing rivers in the 4WD, going on hikes, bird and crocodile spotting, swimming in natural springs, glamping in Purnululu, the list goes on. Scotty was very knowledgable and shared with us his love of the region. Our flight was delayed and Scotty arranged a boat trip on the Ord river which ended up to be one of the highlights of our trip! If you are looking for a personalised tour of the Kimberley, we would highly recommend Scotty and his team.

The extra services of supply of food and beverage prior to boarding was amazing and the quality second to none, many great surprises including the magnificent snack platter and big 🥩 steaks.
