A delicious and authentic pasta experience.
What a sensational day! 9 students and our fabulous chef/teacher Jo, assisted magically by Sue, spent parts of the day gathered around our prep table preparing ravioli, garganelli, fettuccine, a tiramisu AND some biscotti. Paired up we prepped 4 sauces and antipasto and kneaded & rolled the various styles of pasta. When not busily working, guided by the sure hand of experience in Jo, we were seated outside with sublime views across the vines and to the mountains, eating, chatting, drinking and sharing. Suitable for both the experienced cook and the total novice, I highly recommend this experience. A great way to demystify the process of pasta making whilst also enjoying the beauty of the Hunter Valley.

    A Must Do
What an amazing experience, learning the Italian way of pasta making. We made 3 different types, tiramisu (so yum) an biscotti and Jen was so relax and helpful, it was easy. Sue helped keep everything ready and it all went so smoothly, the time flew by. I was mesmerised by the knowledge and skill shared with us. and our creations were edible. For anyone wishing a true cooking class full of fun and wonder, Jen and Sue make you part of the big Italian family.

An amazing food experience in the Hunter Valley
Such a wonderful experience, completely recommend. Firstly, you cant go past Jen's contagious happiness, she really embodies the sense of adventure we all undertook the moment we walked into Our Italian Table. The setting is idyllic, the format and concept educational, but also fun. The end product... well, we were a corporate lunch group of 9 pax and we struggled to eat any dinner afterwards. It was simply scrumptious! Another point to mention is that this is a great team building activity. For us it was an end of year adventure, after months of hard work and often stressful times. Well done Nic. This is a product that has found its niche in the gorgeous Hunter Valley!

Fantastic cooking experience in the heart of the vineyards
The pasta-making class I attended here was fabulous. The small group atmosphere was fun and friendly. Hostess/teacher Jen is knowledgeable and passionate about Italian cooking, and shared her skills generously with the class. Completely hands-on, we made bread, several different pastas and biscotti - and best of all we then enjoyed the feast in the beautiful outdoor area. I highly recommend Jen’s cooking classes to anyone with an interest in Italian cooking (or eating!).

    A Great Experience
My wife and I went along as a belated Christmas Gift for each other. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the experience. Jen and Val were lovely, knowledgeable, and patient. We have experience with making pasta but still learnt so much. We highly recommend Our Italian Table.

    Fantastic time and delicious food
We had our first experience with Our Italian Table last week with a group of friends and colleagues from work after hearing some great things from our clients. It was such a fun morning, interacting with some lovely ladies and learning some very handy and helpful pasta making tricks for home. The best part was making the pasta together and then sitting down on a big, shared table outside to eat delicious food and wine. I would highly recommend a visit to Jen, Jo and Sue for a wonderful group experience and fantastic day!

Best way to spend a day with family or friends in the Hunter Valley
Best ever experience in the Hunter Valley!! A personalised Italian cooking class with friends- what an absolutely beautiful and creative way to spend a day in the vineyards. Jen was the loveliest and most engaging of instructors- teaching us with finely honed skills, patience and a lot of humour! And such a stunning setup and backdrop. We all loved it! I think I've made Jen's biscotti every week since we returned.

    Pasta making class
Made pasta with my daughter and had the nicest time. At the first visit, Jen is a wonderful host and makes you feel at home. It was like sitting with family to be able to consume what you make with the folks you spend hours with. Discovered some fascinating hints and techniques. Eagerly awaiting the recipes

  • Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard Hotels
Set on the crest of a hill, the cellar door has 360-degree views of the picturesque patchwork of vines and paddocks of the Hunter Valley. The sandstone and timber building tips its hat to the history of the vineyard. The Wilkinson's were true pioneers of the Australian winemaking industry. Despite two earlier ventures in Australia, the Wilkinson family returned after the brothers Frederick and John had studied winemaking in France and Germany. In 1866 the family acquired the present site of the Audrey Wilkinson vineyard. Living in tents, they cleared the land and planted vines which were sourced from the MacArthur Onslow property. By the early 1900s, Audrey Wilkinson collected awards around Australia for his Hock, claret and fortified wines. Large quantities were exported to London. Audrey committed to leading edge technology which, at the end of the 19th century, included open cement fermenters and steam powered crushers and hoppers. It was here the Audrey Wilkinson legacy was born.
