Visited today with my husband and our 11 year old son and had a lovely time. We watched the seal feeding and listened to Will’s excellent facts - the seals are hilarious, especially Pixie who was slapping the water to demand her fish 🤣 We saw the charismatic goats, the chickens, guinea pigs, alpacas, penguins tortoises and rabbits and walked through the reptile house, aquarium and butterfly house. Looked at the seal hospital - please remember when you visit here how important the work of the sanctuary is and how your admission ticket helps their vital work. After all that we were hungry and so had lunch in the restaurant which was very nice. We also visited the well stocked gift shop and bought some souvenirs to take home to remind us of the lovely day we had. I’m really dismayed by some of the negative reviews - this isn’t a theme park and you won’t be entertained for hours on end, nor should you expect that given the reasonable admission charge. Go along, walk round, take your time, read the posters, listen to the talks and maybe you’ll enjoy it more. If not then just leave feeling happy that your admission fee may have saved a seal from a painful death and get on with your life doing things you do actually enjoy. Oh and in a contradiction to some of the reviews, all of the animals we saw looked incredibly happy and well looked after - the salad the rabbits and guinea pigs were chomping on looked fresh and delicious. Keep up the good work everyone, we’ll be back when we next visit Skegness 😊
Thank you so much for such a lovely review! We are so so happy to hear that you enjoyed our feeding times, Pixie never stops with the slapping does she!! We appreciate your review so much, it can be very disheartening to read such negative reviews when our animals welfare and happiness is the biggest thing for us! Sometimes I am jealous looking at the fancy salad that they are eating! Again, we appreciate your review so much and we look forward to welcoming you next time you come!

This was mentioned on a social media page wanting something different to do we drove over 2 hours. Greeted by the loveliest of people 20th August. We saw adult seals, a young seal, a mum, and pup something we clearly don't see in day to day life. The talks were very interesting. We saw some seals in the hospital through the window and much more. This is its own charity and relies on people visiting. The gift shop is always our last stop when leaving somewhere we have visited. I was dismayed to see when paying for our things food to purchase to feed the goats and llamas we would have loved to have done that if we would have known. Prompt and sell on arrival. The butterfly house was empty, and I thought there may have been some flying around. Make it more interactive, have children/teens quizzes or a hunt looking for things. Reptile/aquarium talks/handling.

We went to Natureland Seal Sanctuary, thinking it was going to be really busy. But instead we found it to be quiet when we went inside, everything was really peaceful. All the seals was swimming about as usual. Good day out! They are having a new penguin pool built at the moment, they're offering a discount while it's being worked on.

Spent an hour looking round here, the animals were lovely and well looked after. Little shop and cafe. Think it would be quite expensive for admission if a large family was visiting but we didn't mind paying for just us two as a donation.

It is years since our last visit and it is still as great as ever. It cost £11 each which is a brilliant price for two hours of entertainment. The feed time for the seals was a must, the keeper was so knowledgeable and really interesting. We loved the whole atmosphere as it felt relaxed with customers even allowed to bring their pets. What a brilliant facility as all of the seals are rescued by the team and if well enough released back into the sea.
Thanks so much for your review! We are so glad that your enjoyed your visit, our feeding times are so much fun for everyone, we hope to see you again sometime! :)

The seals were adorable and the work they are doing to help the natural seal population. The reptiles were adorable, with some awesome snakes and chameleons. Very much worth the price and there’s a decent selection of food. The Feeding the seals was not only informative but also incredibly funny with the seals clapping and demanding more food. We spent a full day here during our Lincolnshire Holiday from Devon.

Fantastic way to spend an hour or two at a very reasonable £11 each for adults. Small but very well presented including not just seals but also penguins, meerkats, alpacas, tropical birds,  aquarium, koi carp pool, plus goats, and chickens. Animal food can be bought to feed the specific animals also reasonably priced as is the gift shop. We were here without children but I would highly recommend it for those with children.
Thanks so much for your review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit! We hope to see you again :)

Gorgeous array of seals and other animals. Got to the sanctuary just in time to catch two seals being released into the ocean. The cafe prices were quite low but we didn t eat there, we ate a the trawlers catch. Overall would go again.
Thanks so much for your review! We are so glad that your enjoyed your day and were lucky enough to catch a release, they are one of the best parts! We hope to see you again sometime! :)

Absolutely lovely place, it's a small attraction but loads to see and do. Animals are really well taken care of, information boards about the animals, its not just seals there are llama, goats, reptiles, fish, penguins, meerkat. It's £11 per adult which I happily paid for as it helps the seals. Lots of kids and families around the seal area at feeding time but as my son is older we just came back once the little kids had moved.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review, we really do appreciate such nice words! So great to hear that you had a fab visit and loved hearing about our rescue work and seeing our amazing animals! We hope to see you back again sometime :)

We had an amazing afternoon. It was lovely and quiet later in the day and we had everything to ourselves. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food in the cafe was also lovely and reasonably priced. The selection in the gift shop was brilliant and we spent loads. Obviously our favourite part was watching the seals at feeding time and learning all about them. We enjoyed our trip so much and were happy to spend more money on food and gifts knowing it was all to support the seals and further work. My 7 year old enjoyed this the most out of everything we did in Skegness. As adults we did too.
