Brilliant experience! Kieran, Craig and the rest of the team are knowledgable, experienced, amusing helpful and passionate in equal measure, meaning that a trip to stargaze in the third best location in the world is a real joy. To see the Hercules Globular Cluster, the Andromeda Galaxy, Jupiter and Saturn through the telescopes was fantastic. We also saw a quite fantastic sunset from the slopes of El Teide! Overall, a trip to be thoroughly recommended, delivering many 'wow' moments! Whether you are an amateur astronomer or a complete beginner, there is so much in this trip to enjoy.

Me and my partner booked ourselves on this excursion to our recent trip to Tenerife after it came highly recommended by Tenerife First Excursions. We were picked up outside our hotel and began our journey to the stars, there was a stop off to watch the beautiful sunset and opportunity to get some photos, we travelled on to a lovely little restaurant and had a light meal, after we headed further up to the scopes, no spoilers but what an experience once in a lifetime opportunity. Craig, Kieran and the team were all lovely, full of fantastic facts and a few good laughs! Thank you!

Just back from Tenerife where we had the star finding tour. What a fantastic trip this was, Craig was really funny and knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged throughout. Once high enough, the whole team were brilliant with their narrative, and the stars and galaxy we got to see were quite simply out of this world. If your looking for a different kind of excursion, please do this one, you get free photos which others don’t offer, coats to use as it’s cold up lady teide.

Something very different and fun to do in Tenerife, even the teens seemed to enjoy it. Pick up was exactly on time - we were lucky as towards the end so picked up about 5 and dropped off at 11. Craig kept us entertained on the drive with interesting facts about Tenerife. The meal is fine - chicken and pork with a small salad and a couple of potatoes. I noticed the children could have chicken nuggets and chips so if you had a fussy adult you could perhaps request that. Dessert was a chocolate mousse thing and again ok.Wine was not bad, but I was sufficiently worried about the toilet situation not to bother. Sunset with cava above the cloud line was amazing, an absolute highlight. Felt like we were in a different part of the world it was such an amazing experience. Star gazing was great although our trip was very busy with 4 telescopes and 52 people on the bus and additional who had self driven . Kieran and the team made sure everyone had time to look properly but because of the size of trips it was a bit of a drawn out affair. They have coats if you are cold. Top toilet tip is go behind the wall at the other end behind the bushes before everyone’s eyes have adjusted to the dark. Bus trip back was efficiently organised. There was a rather blatant request for a tip which jarred slightly as the excursion is not cheap. But overall a great and memorable evening.

Excellent trip - beautiful sunset stop with cava then further up Mount Tiede for stargazing. Craig and all the guides were very knowledgeable - lots of information on the stars, planets. Great that photos and Timelapse video of sunset included in the price

We booked self drive / no meal sun set and night sky tour and found it amazing. The sunset, stars and scenery were breathtaking and the guides were knowledgeable. Only slight quibble was the start was delayed meaning the sunset element felt rushed and the star gazing is held in a section of a car park so can have some light disruption from other groups with their cars or coaches. However would still highly recommend and a memorable event.

Overall this is a really great tour that I highly recommend. The guys knowledge on the stargazing was exceptional but also really knowledgeable on Tenerife in general, sharing a lot of information during the drives up the mountain. A few things to note, the meal is really early in order to catch the sunset so bring snacks because we were starving by the time we got back to our dropoff point at 10:30pm, and there’s a lot of waiting around during the stargazing as there’s only 3 telescopes between a group of about 50 so wrap up warm.

Excellent trip. We were picked up from our hotel by Hans who was very informative about everything. We learned so much before we even got up to our destination to see the stars. Great meal and drinks great people. All very organised and safe. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed this well organised and informative tour. Great communication from Kieron regarding pick up points and times. The tour started with a meal at a small restaurant on the way to Teide. We chose the chicken option which was fine followed by chocolate cake. We also had one alcoholic drink included but there were also lots of soft drinks on the table. We carried on the trip up the mountain being entertained and informed by our guide Craig who was very friendly and happy to answer questions. We stopped at our sunset point to have a glass of cava and watch the sun set. This was lovely and very peaceful. Craig took photos of everyone (all photos are included free if charge). We then carried on to our star-gazing point further on. Once fully dark the view of the stars is incredible. It does get very chilly up on the mountain so take extra layers although coats were available. Hot chocolate was also handed out. We viewed 4 different aspects via the telescopes which was impressive. Kieron knew so much about astronomy. After approximately 2 hours we went back down on the coach and we’re dropped back at our pick up points - again we’ll organised and we were dropped back just after 10pm (although timings will obviously change depending on sunset timings). Had my mind blown on this stargazing tour with Night Skies Tenerife. 🌌 Craig and Hans, our guides, were like cosmic professors, turning the night sky into an open book. Telescopes, lasers, and a bit of magic – it was next-level! Even with some low clouds, their smooth handling made it part of the adventure. What's mind-blowing is the value for money. Quality equipment, expert guides, and an intro to stargazing that felt like a VIP experience – all without breaking the bank. This is not just stargazing; it's a cosmic crash course at an unbelievably good price. I'm genuinely surprised this isn't shouted from the mountaintops (or Teide, in this case) because this is hands down one of the best tours in Europe. If I were them, I'd shout it louder. More people need to know about this – it's like a hidden gem in the cosmic treasure chest! Can't wait to start recommending it to other people.
