Family of four ( 2 x adults, 2 children) booked on this fabulous trip on the Loire river. Cost was €146.64 ( £126.45) well worth the money. Included 4 x mixed meat and cheese boards, 4 x local desserts, 4 x local red wines and 4 x children’s drinks. The tour starts in Saumur and lasts approximately 1hr 45mins. The all female crew made us very welcome on board. Although the presentation was in French when she spoke with us her English was also very good. Because the Saumur area of the Loire has a lot of sandbanks our female pilot navigated them extremely well. Our service waitress was attentive and assisted in a great tour. The children loved the scenes and with binoculars ( provided ) saw a lot of distant architectural sites along the river bank. A big thank you to the crew and, this tour is highly recommended. This is a busy cruise so book in advance, it was well priced and went for just the right amount of time. staff took into consideration the weather and were very experienced in getting ready for what ever the weather brought. this is a very well run and organised business so you are in good hands. the staff spoke several languages and made sure everyone could understand the commentary we love castles so to see the town and castle from the river was unique, highly recommended

We went on the Tuesday evening cruise for 1hr 45mins. We really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and spoke great English. The main commentary is in French but you have a handout highlighting the main points seen and the they also then gave an English commentary. They provide binoculars and blankets if needed. You have the option of buying them on board meal but we took a picnic with us. You also receive a complimentary glass of local wine. Highly recommended

Nice cruise with a very welcoming crew. Clear and interesting explanations. Reservation I made a mistake and they were very tolerant to change my Reservation. I thank them. Dogs are allowed. A small taste of local produce is offered during the cruise.

We received a very warm welcome from the crew aboard. They were very knowledgeable about the river and the life on and around it and made our outing very interesting. We enjoyed the wine tasting the use of the binoculars. We would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Saumur.

Excellent service and very good value for Award The crew was very nice and there is a very good organization Comments were very interesting and just right The small cruise allows you to discover Saumur and its surroundings from the Loire And it is possible to go to the front of the boat to take pictures The 50 minutes pass very quickly, cruise to do absolutely!!!
