- Nicholas WColchester, United Kingdom65 contributionsEasy parking with well signposted routes from bridges 1 and 2 leading down the steps and paths to bridges 3 and 4. Impressive slot canyons with great depth and fast flowing water. Round trip to bridge 4 back to upper car park/ restaurant took us 1 hour 20 minutes complete with stops for photos. For us it was a must do in the area. Given more time we would have included bridges 5 and 6.Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 June 2024
- Hallfam51 contributionsThis is a great little walk that can be as easy or long as you wish. We walked Bridge 1 to Bridge 4 but in all reality stopping at Bridge 3 would be fine. In my opinion Bridge 3 was the most impressive with the volume of water going down the gorge at that point amazing. It was raining when we were there so not too many people on the track and we got a parking spot easy. Wear proper walking shoes. Look out along the roadways for wildlife. We saw a moose!Visited June 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 June 2024
- Marjolein vPorec, Croatia142 contributionsA great stroll in the canyon with the most amazing views on the malinge canyon. We carried our 1,5 in a carrier. Beautiful coloured lake. Go early and bead the crowd zo you can enjoy everything in its calm beauty. Visited in sept 2019Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 4 July 2024
- DAROHATHCairns, Australia1,305 contributionsWe walked Maligne Canyon at the end of March, early Spring. As the snow and ice was melting, the tours up the canyon floor stopped about a week before we got there. Starting/ parking at 5th Bridge (as recommended by many) worked really well and we were still about to walk some of the first part of the canyon on the canyon floor. Allow around 2.5h round trip and if there’s ice, definitely wear spikes.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 June 2024
- laurieReno, Nevada35 contributionsVery crowded and steep canyon. The views are spectacular and worth seeing. We got there at 9 am and it was busy! Lots of single file lines and groups crowding the lookouts. I have knee issues and to the firth bridge and back was a lot of stairs and slippery rocks to walk on. I’m glad I did it though.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 July 2024
- Hermann tMuelheim an der Ruhr, Germany565 contributionsFrom the upper parking lot at bridges 1 and 2 it is partly steep with stairs down the canyon. Imposing the power with which the water cleared its way. The people spread over the route, so you have quiet moments to yourself despite relatively many tourists.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 July 2024
