Located three hours south of Chiang Mai, the community of Lamphun is especially interesting to those intrigued by history. Founded more than 1,400 years ago, the town still has a beautiful temple and pagoda beautifully preserved from the past.

You could spend your whole Chiang Mai holiday exploring the famous Night Bazaar. Once you’ve exhausted the art of the cheerful haggle, however, there’s plenty more to explore.
