- The Paragon TheatreThe Paragon Theatre opened on October 28, 1933 to a capacity crowd of 1150 people. After a chequered history which saw it gutted and repurposed as an indoor cricket stadium in 1985 before closing down for over a decade it underwent a major restoration in the early 2000's. After being closed again for 3 years we bought the theatre in July 2017 and are continuing the restoration. Since owning the Paragon we have saved the floor from collapse, installed a commercial kitchen, bar, large stage, sound and lighting equipment, biofuel fire pits and various other improvements. Our focus has shifted towards live music events, everything from classical, jazz, blues, country and rock bands. Keep a lookout on our website for upcoming events. You never know who you might see at The Paragon Theatre.Read more
