    A must see
So many cafes and stores. Excellent people-watching. As Americans, we were very amused to see a line of people waiting to enter Footlocker the same way others were lined up outside Louis Vuitton. The sidewalks are so wide and cleaned nightly, it was entertaining to join the flow of people.

Take a stroll - loads to see
You can't go to Paris and not stroll the Champs Elysees. Extra wide sidewalk areas accommodate the cafes and the crowds. High end shopping experiences to McDonalds - it is all fun to stroll by, people watch and window shop. Start and the Arc de Triomphe and work your way down the avenue. Tree lined and flowers too- lovely street to visit even with the crowds!

Nothing great but a nice stroll along the street
We first visited the Arc de Triomphe and then walked along the Champs Elysees. It is a nice bustling street with many high end fashion stores and nice cafes. Nothing very much different from any streets with fashion stores really. But still it was nice walking along the street. We did not enter any store and make any purchases but just wanted to get a feel for the street. Half way thru it started raining and we exited out the street to the nearest metro on the street itself. Definitely you can walk along the street if you are visiting the Arc, even if you are not into shopping. It was nice to see the brightly decorated stores and just the feel of walking on Champs Elysees in Paris was nice :)

    Walk It Slowly!
So much to see and explore. More touristy than I’d like, however it remains high end and very beautiful. Treat yourself and get on line for some of the high end stores. Marvel at the goods, and the prices lol!!

Iconic shopping street in Paris with luxury shops.
Very long shopping street known for luxury shops and Paris iconic shopping street. Good to visit to get the glimpse of this street which lead to Arc de Triumph. May not have much significance now as there are many shopping places around in Paris. There are fine restaurants and cafés around to sit and eat. You have to be ready for 3-4 km walking if want to cover entire street.

    Iconic Street
How many avenues in the world are more well-known and renowned than this one? Perhaps Pennsylvania Avenue in DC, or 5th Avenue in NYC. So much history but also so much high-end shopping and touristy kitsch. But as you browse the stores imagine what it must have been like in the summer of 1944 when De Gaulle marched down here following the Liberation of Paris.

    amazing experience!
We stayed in a very nice flat in Paris near the Champs-Elysees. This area in Paris is not very cheap, you can find department stores with the best brands. Dining out in this area is not cheap either but it is worth it. Walking around here is an attraction of the city, watching the sunrise from our room window was a great luxury.

    Great area
This area is very populated, but has some great shops and restaurants. Would've loved to have had time to shop here. This prestigious location is also home to a number of luxury brands, and several Michelin-starred restaurants. The windows are gorgeous as are all the huge bill boards.

Great place for recreation, relaxation and shopping
Great boulevard stretch that covers span of signature and luxury shops , fast food and fine dining restaurants, lined with trees and a backdrop of the Arc of Triumph. Human flow is very much evident. Must see in Paris.

    So so busy
Famous the world over and full of tourists during the day. High end shops mainly with over-priced cafes touting for your trade. Many better true parisian streets are a few minutes walk away.

  • Opéra / Bourse Hotels
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
