Basic accommodation.. No breakfast, no good location, the room had a leak, there was a pillar in the middle of the room and they called it the VIP suite.. Need I say more? Oh yes.. And when you step out to eat or run an errand, they require that you give your hotel key back to them.. What's up with...

This modern hotel is situated just outside the city walls, on the west side of the old city. It is a safe fifteen minute walk away from the night market and the centre of town. We were given a map at reception, although we were a bit confused at first as we are not Thai speakers and some receptionists have...

The exterior of the hotel is modern and clean, our rooms were clean but each room has a shutter window into the hallway. Depending on the room you get if a hall light is right outside your room then the room is lit with no way to darken it. The curtains only soften the light. There is no safe in...

It's a rather nice hotel for it's low price. The staff are very helpful and friendly. + the bed + a very large tv + coffee making in the room + all of the staff are very helpfull + the room is rather big + the low price - far away from the city center - a lot of ants...

Been to Phrae a couple of times now. This hotel is nowhere near any others, and is near the River just north of Pratuman Public Park. The hotel is marked on Google Maps, but only in Thai Script. Having your own wheels helps Really comfortable bed, good air-con. Spacious room, bathroom OK. Yes, there were a few ants, but as...

Fifth stay - will be back. I spring for the VIP room - at 900baht its a steal. They stock up the fridge for me with the brands I like - with a very small mark up on supermarket prices. they are flexible, accommodating and very friendsly

The welcome was less than inviting and the staff spoke little English but fortunately my wife is Thai and did all the talking. I booked our two nights on line but at checkin we where treated like we where unwelcome. I had never found this at any other hotel. The room looked great. Large and very clean with a massive...

Passed through Phrae on the way to Nan & Chiang Mai. Was too late already to push onto Nan & was looking for accommodations for the night. Wasn't expecting much of a small town hotel. Room was basic, but most importantly it was clean. Only gripe was that there was a strong smell of incense pervading the room. Lucky it...

This hotel is basic but has everything you need. It's new, has courteous helpful staff, and walking distance to the city walls and old town. They even have frozen dinners if you're hungry. They are helpful with maps and pointing out attractions. Room is new, clean and tidy, and aircon functions well. I wonder though why there are louver windows...

The tiny hotel impressed me by its cleanliness and fully equipped with nescessary room amenities. Of course, the owner may not intend to build even a 3-star hotel, but it is good enough to be recognized by me as good as a 3-4 star hotel.
