First time to visit Sakon Nakhon so just randomly picked a hotel. The Dusit has a good staff at the front desk as well as other workers in the hotel. The breakfast was good however we were very rushed to clear out the exact minute the breakfast time ended. The location was good for all of the activities we had... More

Breakfast was not the best but it was sufficient for our needs and had most of what we are used to eating. The room was comfortable but the bathroom could do with some work as things are starting to fall to pieces. The water boiler was refilled every day for tea and coffee but if you were out this could... More

Second hotel of the trip. Chosen purely because it is so close to where I needed to be I can, however, appreciate it might not be as convenient for some of the key venues in Sakon Nakhon. However, it was not a disappointment. The room on the ground floor was perfectly ok, no noticeable noise, and it was clean. The... More

- Do not pick room 121, Toilet was smelly old but quite clean. And noisy because trucks parked and were loading things next to our room. Not sure but seems like you may be in the same floor with one night stand couples so it will be hard to sleep in peace. -Travel with hotel service costs 100 Baht for... More

Booked and paid on Agoda. Agoda rooms are allocated to the ground floor level with windows onto the parking lot. Asked to perhaps move and was told we would have to pay an additional B1500 per night to move. Would not recommend booking via Agoda.

The Dusit is an old hotel, suffering a little now with age. However the rooms were tidy and immaculately cleaned by the hotel staff every day. Entrance lobby to the hotel was particularly lovely. The 'old part of town' is exactly where this hotel is located. There are lots of market areas and some interesting shops to visit within a... More

Dusit hotel is located in the city center of Sakon Nakhon, close to many small shops, markets and restaurants. The outside looks like some maintenance (paint job) has been delayed for some time, but inside a friendly staff is waiting, speaking fairly good English, in a nice atmosphere. The room we had was spacious, good shower in rather small (but... More

Did not stay but looked at the rooms. Did not understand what 'older part of town' (in one of the reviews) meant until we went to the area around Big C, near the MJ Majestic, where we did stay. The Dusit is an externally scruffy building in an area that seems of the same age, likely late 70's? The public... More
