We were looking for a nice location to celebrate our 10th anniversary. After looking in multiple countries/destinations, we settled on the Pacuare Lodge. We did the 4 day/3 night "Romance" package, staying in the Linda Vista Suite (Puma). For those that are not aware, the only real way to the lodge is via white water rafting. From the moment you...

This place is one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. The staff was attentive and outstanding, the accommodations were superb, the food was delicious, the activities were well coordinated and organized. Everything was perfect. I would not have changed a thing.

Excellent tour, raft trip, food, guides and staff. Should have stayed at the Lodge one additional night. First day was mostly driving to get to the launch site (from San Jose). However, that being said the ~1.5 hour raft "float" was enjoyable. The Lodge area was incredibly beautiful. Would be a heat sport of a romantic adventure. The staff does...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and three days, and agree that it is one of the most spectacular places to which we've ever traveled (50+ countries). We are already looking forward to going back for a longer stay! This lodge seamlessly integrates luxury with nature, and is genuinely committed to the sustainable policies that govern much...

I can't begin to even tell you what an incredible place this is! We stayed in Lora in the Linda Vista Suites. You have four of those to chose from and i believe Lora has the best privacy! Nobody can see in to your deck or pool area and it is AMAZING! The staff is incredibly sweet and the activities...

My wife and I spent 4 nights here in January 2014 and were pleased at every turn -- even at that we feel we didn't have enough time there. The staff are incredibly friendly, happy and clearly love their jobs. You start (hopefully) by rafting in and then your raft and kayak guides become your waiters and guides for the...

The experience is a real adventure: white-water rafting, zip-lines, rappelling down canyons. The bungalows are luxurious, but rustic: no electricity (but romantics candles), four-poster beds (with mosquito netting), indoor and outdoor showers (only difference being one has a roof over it), no walls (but privacy provided by distance, river sounds, and curtains). Not your usual hotel, so if you aren't...

We just left the Pacuare Lodge yesterday, and it was a bittersweet departure for us, having celebrated our 20th anniversary there. The sadness was only relieved by our resolve to spend our 40th anniversary there, too. The initial rafting trip in was fun and exciting, but trumped moreso by the rafting trip out! But I wouldn't have changed anything, because...

To reach the lodge you have first to pass a terrible street by 4wd. you never want to do this trip back. Our room was absolute perfect large clean luxory with a little private pool. now the matters which I did not like: You had to walk always 10 to 15 Minutes to your room and the way was extremly...

Possibly the most amazing place I've ever stayed. The wonderful experience started from the minute we got into the van to drive to our rafting site. Our guide, Ivan, is incredibly knowledgeable and charismatic, making friends out of a group of strangers by the time we reached the rafts. The rafting trip was fun (even in the rain) and even...
