To all that were there from march 11-18(mike and sharonand jessica, hillary from langley(sako and kong,ha ha))Place was truly what we read about and the fact that during spring break you could go to beach or pool at noon any of the seven days and find with no problem 3 chairs in a row available is truly unheard of. Went...

We stayed at the Samba from March 7-14 and it was a fantastic vacation. The rooms were comfortable (we had a two room suite with two queen beds and a butterfly style couch that converts to a bed in the living room. ) The living room also had a table and chairs and a kitchen, with a half bathroom. The...

If you've been to the "mega" resorts and you're tired of the lines, fedup with vying for beach chairs or a place at the pool, the Samba is a very nice alternative. Just over one hundred rooms, a great stretch of beach, and a staff that will make your trip memorable. The Samba has everything you need without the crowds.

Just a great place, great staff, good but not great food, small in size but not small in comfort. Not over the top luxury, but we prefer the friendlier atmosphere here. We had six great days..........occupancy was noticably low.........so, the management booked in a large group of 75 to 100, teenage Mexican nationals with 4 or 5 adults who failed...

The Samba is small enough to be cozy, the rooms were very clean. The staff was very courteous, attentive, and friendly. I can't say enough about how nice our stay was. After talking to guests at other hotels, I think we should appreciate the fact that there were no "blue shirts" in the lobby trying to sell timeshares. There were...

The Samba Vallarta is a great place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The beach is beautiful, firm enough to walk on with soft sand and warm water. The staff are excellent, friendly and always there when you want them. This hotel is small, and older, without all the bells and whistles of the new mega resorts, and that is a...

Food was fair. Pool and beach was the best part of the resort by far. Staff was very nice, but the place actually got old after a few days. One flaw, I attempted to extend my stay (purely for the weather) and was told three different prices. When I got the bill the price changed again! Finally, I did the...

Our family of four, including a 15 year old girl and an 11y boy, stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in the mid of Feb. The hotel is basic, and the room looks like a 2-star hotel in the US. Service is very very good, if not excellent. The staffs are very warm, nice and willing to help. The...
