We were only there for one night and upon our arrival I saw a woman I had seen throughout the trip at various restaurants. We were staying on the other side of Simpson Bay. I asked her how she liked it at Sapphire Beach and told her I was just staying for a night. She looked at me and said,...

Four of us stayed at this hotel the first week in October. We arrived in the evening when the reservation desk is not fully staffed - be aware of that. Our reservation was not located but the security guard (very nice guy) gave us a room anyway. Thank goodness it was only temporary. The room was MUSTY. The bed linens...

My husband and I were SHOCKED at the condition of this resort! I read the reviews but never imagine it to be as bad as everyone had stated. Below are our highlights: Sheets were stained everywhere. Yellowish/reddish stain. As I helped the maintenance lady pull the sheets off...more disgusting sticking black stuff was on the sheets and pillows...she jumped backed...

We had a great stay at the Shapphire! By the way I don't think is is owned by Wyndham. We rented a 3 bedroom 31/3 bath unit which is privately owned. In the same building but not owned by the hotel and not a timeshare. A.C. we were told has been disconnected from the hotels so had no smell or...

I think the whole Wyndham chain and all their associates have taken a big hit downwards. They concentrate more on trying to sell you a timeshare than anything else. There still are some decent places run by them, but the accomodations take second fiddle to them trying to sell you. Too bad.....I used to like going to Wyndam properties.....but I...

We've stayed at Sapphire Beach many times over the last 12 years. At first we excused the service as, "Island Style" because we loved the location. But this summer's stay was beyond explanation. The resort is so broken down that even our shower control gave us small electric shocks when we tried to turn on the water. Ironically, the best...

Please, please, do yourself a favor and avoid this dump! My husband and I were invited by another couple who honeymooned at this location 10 years ago. They were celebrating their 10 year anniversary and had fond memories of the place. Well, to say the very least, they were extremely mortified to have invited us and sadly disappointed to see...

We arrived at dinner time. Were surprised no welcome party for time share owners (we were there 9 years prior and they had snacks and drinks). That should have been our first tip off that things were not the same as they were in the past. They charged us $40 for internet that only worked in the lobby occasionally. Our...

As much as it pains me to write this, the Sapphire beach Club and Resort isn't the place it once was. Stayed twice in 2009 but our 2010 stay was riddled with problems. The only real charm is the security guard who is the nicest guy! The beach on property has disappeared, the staff write down the problem, smile and...

We have been timeshare owners for several years. It was a thrill many years ago to come here; however, in recent years, we have seen a steady decline in the condition of the resort. The only reason we continued to vacation here is the location. This latest visit offered the following: an air conditioner that kept the room just a...
