This is a great little place to stay! Such friendly staff, very clean rooms, and we loved having a balcony right over the Main Street. Very homey with enough amenities, like WiFi, and free breakfast! We love staying here!

Hi Kathy Thank you for this excellent review. It is so nice to hear you enjoy what the Inn has to offer our guests. We agree the view from our balcony rooms has a little more going on then our back rooms. The village of Lakefield is a busy little place at times. We are thrilled you love coming to...

We stayed one night at the Village Inn In Lakefield Ontario. Staff was pleasant. Rooms were weary..old fashion satin bedspreads, paper peeling on bathroom mirror frame. Musty smell in basement breakfast room. Bathroom was clean. Coffee maker and fridge in room. No microwave. Very centrally located on Main Street. There is a veranda patio pub in front, which could contribute...

We were so pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The decor and furnishings added to the romance and ambiance. It was private and quiet. The restaurant downstairs was a nice place to eat breakfast and go for drinks. This is our new place for getaways.

I hope to return to the Village Inn when next in the area. I visited twice in March. Both times, the hotel and pub staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and everything worked. That said, one should not expect 5 star accommodation. The towels were effective but rather rough. I wish the windows opened...

I have often stayed at The Village Inn in Lakefield while on the road on business in cottage country. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are decent. It is a sleepy town and in the evening the bar/restaurant can sometimes become quite lively. This is a pleasant, nice place to stay.

There was a group of us who booked at the Village Inn in Lakefield ON. Tara and the rest of the team members were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and yet unique. The rooms had all the amenities a family would require. The fact we were there for a hockey tournament, requesting a late check out...

We stayed here with our family on October 14th. Very nice room; clean and spacious. It had a fridge! Good sized desk, and super HD TV for the kids. It would be nice to have a small workout room, and the continental breakfast has no protein options, but overall, we were very pleased. Walked into town and met some fun...

Visiting friends at a cottage at the Kawartha's, we stayed at the Village Inn in Lakefield, Ontario. Large room, very clean with fridge and all other amenities. Right in the middle of town with access to restaurants, etc. Attached is a pub and restaurant. Did not stay for the breakfast, so can not comment on it. Certainly would stay there...
