We had the best family holiday ever. Haus Wasserbauer is clean and has everything a family needs. Vicky cannot do enough for you. She is a fantastic host with a wealth of local knowledge. The area has lots to do for families and is absolutely beautiful. Our holiday proved Austria is not just for ski season but also fabulous for...

Can't rate this place enough! I visited for our first family ski holiday with my wife and 3 boys (5,3 & 1 yrs old). Unsure as to whether or not they'd all enjoy skiing, hosts Duncan and Vikki told us we didn't need to book ski school, hire, passes etc.. and that we could do it day by day when...

Vicky and Duncan gave us a very warm welcome and were the perfect host throughout the stay, always on hand if you had a question ! The apartment was beautifully warm, with comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. The house is in the perfect location, very close to the slopes and within walking distance of some fab restaurants. Duncan is...

Firstly the bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and plenty of hot water at all hours. It was perfectly clean and is of lovely decor. It is in a great position for getting to the ski shop, the ski bus is only a short walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars close at hand....

This place really exceeded expectations in every way. Firstly, Vikki and Duncan are the most lovely people; they are always so willing to offer advice, have a chat and generally be amazing (we arrived back one day to find that Vikki had baked us some cookies...and we also were treated to mulled wine in the balcony on Christmas Eve!). We...

Not sure where to start... Duncan and Vikki are fantastic hosts. They know when to be there and help, and they know when to leave you alone. Always smiling, an happy to help with local (or not so local) recommendations. The property is fantastic, we have stayed in both apartments in the past, in summer and winter. The 2 bed...

We booked this on a friend's recommendation for a quick half-term break in May. A short and scenic drive for Salzburg, Mulbach sits at 1,000m with the snow kissed Hochkonig towering over the village. Haus Wasserbauer is run by Vicky and Duncan who swapped corporate life in London five years ago to follow their dream of running a guest house...

Our family (parents with two children) enjoyed staying in Haus Wasserbauer for one week during the summer. The apartment was fantastic: big, beautiful and extremely convenient. The apartment is located in a small peaceful village, where you can easily find a bakery and some good restaurants. The apartment was sparkling clean, with new toilets and bathrooms. The kitchen was well...

Our family has enjoyed five holidays at Haus Wasserbauer - three in the winter and two in the summer. Each time we come, the hosts Duncan and Vikki have improved something in the property. It was always nice, but is now at a very high standard. We have stayed in both apartments which are stylishly put together, spotlessly clean and...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were in a group of 4 couples and each of us had our own ensuite which was fantastic! The kitchen was really well equipped, with everything from salt and pepper, to dishwasher tablets. Huge selection of games (in english) on offer, as well as table tennis in the "games room" which we enjoyed....
