lovely quiet, rural village setting approx 15 minutes easy drive to the channel tunnel, with clear directions from the village. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which has an excellent choice of seafood and fish, alongside other options. We had a large family room, with two double beds - very warm...

Gem of a place with nice staff and room we couldn't fault and only 10 minutes from the tunnel. Great shower, tea making facilities and UK tv channels on a decent size tv. We ate in the adjoining restaurant and again couldn't fault the service or food. Lovely seafood selection. We will be looking for an excuse to return.

Have been staying here each year for over 8 years. Excellent service, food and comfort. Great value. Recommended by a friend and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Breakfast is amazing. Take a trip up to see the monument to the Dover patrol and see fantastic views and how close the cliffs of Dover are. Always think they should have more stars....

I reviewed this hotel last year and things are just as good as they were then. It was a cold wet rainy November this time and yet we were warm and cosy in our room both days we were here. The food in the restaurant is as good as ever with generous portions at a reasonable price. The seafood paella...

We booked a superior room which turned out to be one of the refurbished rooms. Clean, well presented with flat screen TV showing English programmes and a controllable heater in the room. The beds were really comfortable and brand new. Bathroom a bit strange as the toilet was in a separate cupboard the other side of the room so had...

The adjoining restaurant was excellent A great meal, again at a price that didnt match the superb food. It will be our preferred place to...

I've been staying at this hotel for years and have seen the owners invest heavily in upgrading the rooms. The business Is run by two families, one running the Rooms and breakfast with the other running the bar and restaurant (they prefer you to pay the bills separately) I can't praise the rooms and breakfast enough, the welcome is always...

A very short trip from the tunnel, a good sleep after a good meal sets you up for a long drive the next day. The seafood in the restaurant is terrific and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is a little too tempting for the weak-willed. If you have time stroll down to the beach or perhaps drive up to the...
