Quest Brighton on the Bay is located in one of Melbourne's most desirable and well-known suburbs and enjoys the fresh and healthy sea breezes from the Bay. Located across the road from the Royal Brighton Yacht Club and the Brighton Pier, the beach is an easy 2-minute walk away. This friendly and cozy property is a modern 4 star rated hotel with apartment style guest rooms. Most apartments have kitchenettes, and some larger suites have kitchens. Only 20-minutes from the city, Quest allows guests to enjoy the seaside suburb's atmosphere while being close enough to the city to stay in touch. Quest Brighton on the Bay features meeting facilities, onsite secure car parking, guest laundry and Endota Day Spa. Famous boutique shops and popular cafes line Church Street about 10 minutes' walk away. Visitors from all over come to see the colourful Brighton Beach Bathing Sheds also located nearby. Enjoy a morning run or bike ride along the many kilometers of seaside boardwalk for a healthy start to the day. Please note that the hotel is opposite the beach, but we do not have any apartments with views towards the bay. Only a few, limited apartments have a balcony at all, and as such, due to demand, they attract a daily surcharge.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.

Initially thought the location would be too far away but with the Yacht Club directly across the road and serving fantastic dinner/breakfast, as well as a fish n chip place on the pier across the road, turned out to be just what i needed for a business trip. Would be good for young families too with the swimming across the road as well. My room was ground floor, very spacious, super clean and very good value for money and all staff were friendly and helpful - didn't need to interact much with them as everything went smoothly anyway. I will definitely book this place again next business trip.

Families do love this area with the beach over the road, but so do the many businesspeople who choose to stay here in Brighton with us. With the many options for meals in our area, the 3 restaurants near us and the 4 blocks of boutiques and cafes in Church Street nearby it is a refreshing beginning and end to a workday. Many of our guests have offices or businesses in neighboring suburbs but want a good meal at night or maybe a run on the beach before heading out for a busy day. Much more enjoyable than a hotel in a commercial area and we are so glad to see you had a good experience in Brighton. We are thrilled that you have found us and are here to welcome you again soon. Robert and the team

Rooms were large (mini apartment style), very clean and with comfortable beds. Staff were extremely helpful even though we only stayed one night. Underground parking is available for a small fee and was very convenient with lifts right to the room.

I enjoyed my stay at the Quest Brighton on the Bay during a recent business trip. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on the area and nearby restaurants. The hotel staff daily refreshed my towels and sleeping linens on the agreed upon frequency.
The one bedroom apartment with kitchette was very convenient for breakfast and those rare dinners at home. The hotel was close to Church Street with it's shops, restaurants, and train station. I could find plenty of parking when I wanted to do shopping or enjoy the culinary choices there.
I used the free laundry facilities multiple times during the my hotel stay. My ground floor apartment was strategically close to a stairway for visiting the second floor laundry room.
Overall, I found the room VERY comfortable and almost like home for the 5 weeks I was in Melbourne.

Thank you for being part of our family for 5 weeks. We appreciate getting to know you over that time and it is great to see you were at home here. It is a lovely place for an extended stay as you get to know all the local secrets in regards to lovely walks, best coffees and favourites for food. We are locals who love this area and want our visitors to get a glimpse of the best this community has to offer. Reception staff have tips for coffee or meals so you don't miss something great. Florida is a long swim away from here, but perhaps we will see your smiles here again sometime. We hope so! warm regards Robert and the team

I will never stay in these Quest apartments again. I frequently use Quest for work and thought I would be safe with using them for a family trip. The facilities were terrible, no soap, broken towel rack, unclean floors, no coat hangers and upon calling to talk to the team about the issues they answered the call "hello", I had to ask if I had called the Quest due to the unprofessional behaviour.

Re-Ignored Confirmed Booking at the Quest Hotel, Brighton Beach
I made a booking for two rooms, one disabled access and one ordinary room for the nights of the 25th and 26th of December, 2023 and received email confirmation of the bookings on 2nd July.
On 2ist December, I received an email from Quest asking me to reconfirm my bookings however there was no mention of the disabled access room. I therefore called them to make sure my booking was secure. After a lot of prevarication and being transferred from one person to another on the phone, they eventually told me I did not have the booking for the disabled access room. Eventually, they told me they had bookings for 3 weeks and 2 weeks for their 2 disabled access rooms. To me, it appears they have taken these bookings instead of my two night booking.
As you can imagine, I was very upset by this. I asked if they could find me similar rooms somewhere else. They said they would do it and send me a confirmation of their booking. I never received a confirmation and telephoned them back to ask them about it. They reassured me they would send me the confirmation, but it never arrived. On Boxing Day, I saw my MasterCard had been debited for $400 from another hotel. I telephoned that hotel and found out that Quest had made a booking for me for the two nights. However, I never knew about it. The other hotel very kindly cancelled the MasterCard fee when they found out what had happened.
I am just letting you know the extreme disappointment of my treatment by Quest hotel, Brighton. My mother, who is 100 years old and, in a wheelchair, was really looking forward to this time out from her care home as was my sister and myself.
I have retained the 2 emails sent to me, the original confirming my booking on 2nd July the and the second one of 21st Dec.

Great time - excellent room in great condition. The ease of arriving late and being able to access my room was good also. Pre communication on day of arrival and further SMS provided assurance that I had access to the building and to my room without any delay in trying to contact someone after hours.

I travelled to Brighton for work and needed accommodation for the week. The Quest Brighton on the Bay was absolutely fantastic. Even though I arrived late on a Sunday, Robert and his staff where there to greet me and made sure that I settled in.
The room was quiet, very spacious, and even had room service each day (which I was surprised about, since it was a serviced apartment). In terms of food options and shops there isn't too much next to the hotel, but Church St is an easy, flat 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive and there are a lot of options (plus a Coles and Woolworths).
The location is great if you want to do some runs or walks along the beach too, and getting everywhere via car is pretty simple as you can drive straight onto the Esplanade. Parking is also very easy at the hotel with lots of space.
Overall, 5/5 and will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Thank you for your wonderful 5 bubbles! It is great to see you enjoyed your stay here for a week. Multiple days or weeks are our specialty as I can see you felt at home running along the beach promenade and finding local spots for meals in Church Street. There are lots of great cafes as well as amazing sunsets to enjoy from the cafes over the road facing the Bay. Quest Brighton on the Bay is a simple corporate style of hotel, but what a lovely location indeed! It was good to welcome you and we are all so happy to see you felt at home. See you again in 2023! warm regards Robert and the team

This is a good place to stay if you don't want a sea view and do not have too much luggage. It is more apartments than hotel really so no open bar/restaurant and storage space in rooms limited. Friendly staff, when there, and across the road "The Baths", a good cafe/restaurant with adjoining fish and chip takeaway with views over bay. Also the posher yacht club across the road. Church Street shopping centre withing 15 minutes walking and along the beachfront to the famous Brighton beachhuts. Parking is available under the premises at extra charge. Great for short stay if you do not want to be pampered.

Very nice property with all the amenities you need for a medium length stay. Excellent location, beach right across the road, Cabrini Hospital 650 metre walk, all the cafes, supermarkets restaurants and bottle shops about 800 metres away in Church Street. Quiet rooms are exactly that, no traffic noise, industrial noise early morning garbage trucks. Stayed a couple of times and will again if in that area.

Dear Danny. It was great to have you visit with us so to be your home away from home while attending Cabrini Hospital nearby. Kathleen, Carla and Sophie are happy that you were satisfired with their welcome and service. We do enjoy having guests here and feel at home. Cabrini is close by and so we are wanting to be a support during any procedures. It also helps to have the lovely beach walks over the road and of course wonderful Church St nearby with cafes and boutiques. Thank you for your time to give some feedback and we are here when you need us next. warm regards Robert and the team.
