Detailed Reviews
We had a three night mid week break at The Oaks Ranch and couldn’t have chosen a better spot to kick back & relax. Our deluxe Bungalow was warm & spacious with a seriously lux bathroom supplied with premium Leif products, the fluffiest of bath sheets and a huge deep bath. The kitchenette had a Nespresso machine and was generously stocked with soft drinks, juices, nuts, chips and fudge and kitted with beautiful crockery and glassware from Maison Balzac. I don’t know where the mattress came from; heaven, I suspect! Our bungalow had a sun drenched private terrace with very comfortable arm chairs, perfect for reading the papers & listening to the birds, also for sipping champagne while watching the sun set over the mountains. We had a delightful night at the restaurant, great food and service. Our breakfasts were delicious & served by the very lovely, knowledgeable and local Josh.

A really special place near the coast with beautiful grounds and rooms, excellent service and close to lovely beaches and sightseeing. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with outdoor showers (as well as indoor), private outdoor seating areas and non-stop views of many kangaroos. There is also a very nice swimming pool and spacious dining area. We only had one night here but would have happily stayed much longer.

We stayed at the Oaks Ranch and the staff were very friendly and always attentive to our needs. The rooms were clean and modern. The location, lounging by the pool whilst overlooking the kangaroo filled grassy hills far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is highly recommended and if they have the barramundi croquettes on the menu...get two plates!!

From the moment I drove up to the property through to check out, the experience at Oaks Ranch was pure bliss. It's the kind of place where 24 hours feels like a weeks vacation; a mini soul reset. The tranquility of the location is incredible - waking up to bird song and watching the swallows dive over the misty lawns with a cup of tea is how every morning should be - team are genuinely wonderful, the architecture and furnishings seriously divine and every little touch will exceed expectations you didn't even know you had in a stay. I'm still dreaming of those robes! I feel very grateful to have been welcomed to Oaks Ranch, and hope to be back soon. Thanks so much Josh and team.

My Wife, daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful country hideaway for New Year's Eve. If you want a beautiful relaxing Australian Country setting close to the beach with fabulous food and even a cheeky 9 holes of golf, then this is the place for you. Josh made us feel so welcome, relentlessly trying to accommodate us, thanks Josh you were fabulous. Also a big thanks to the staff and especially the chef, wow what amazing food you served the lunch menu was sensational and so tasty and the NYE degustation to die for. It was a much-needed relaxing break and we would highly recommend it to any travellers. Many Thanks, to the Oaks Ranch Team Mat Graham and Family

Lovely lady that meet upon arrival and escort to your room only advise maybe good to let people know where restaurant is and facilities on way to room
The rooms are lovely and with beautiful appointed bathrooms and lovely amenities
The nice touch’s of linen doona cover and pillow case and very comfortable bed.
We stayed two nights and my only disappointed which costs hardly anything to do is a refresh of the room to come back and bed same way left it was what I expect at a motel not for these prices.
The melas for dinner are nice but very limited wine list and let’s say the service is very country style.

Amazing grounds, beautiful and clean room, delicious food and super friendly staff. We stayed there for a couple of nights for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a ranch-resort type hybrid experience. It was absolutely lovely and they had great little touches like mini bar snacks, comfortable robes, quality hair and body products, etc.

Hi Megan, thank you for your enquiry but unfortunately the pool is not heated. It is however fabulous during the summer months!
