We used the guest house for a one night ( well, part of a night!) stay as a base for our ascent of Adam's Peak. They were welcoming, and carried our bags without hesitation up loads of steps to our room. The room was sparse and simple, but we were cheerfully shown how to convert a three pin plug to...

This was a clean, welcoming guest house / hostel with tremendous views of Adams Peak. The food was basic but well priced and filling and the rooms were basic but very clean and most with great balcony's. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, telling stories about the mountain such as the woman in her 70s who just climbed...

As others have said, this is a very basic guest house. Lots of steps to climb up to the rooms. Mosquito net had holes, we had to keep putting water into the reservoir to get the toilet to flush. Meals huge portions but not gourmet by any means. On the plus side though, good access for climbing Adam's Peak and...

First I have to mention that this is my first experience with a guesthouse - but it was a good one!! The staff was vey friendly and the food in the restaurant was fine! We had one of the cottage room - it was clean and there was hot water. There was a small terrace with some chairs, so we...

Great view from the bungalows, all the stairs are worth it. Lovely terrasse (be aware of monkeys!), very friendly and helpful staff, just the manager is quite unfriendly and smells of alcohol. Wonderful place to do the Adam's peak hike! Don't eat dinner there, they don't provide local food although it's on the menue..

A place to rest for a few hours before doing Adams Peak. Restaurant on the fourth floor served good enough rice and curry buffet style to fuel up before the trek. Rooms however were a challenge...we were room 37 not at the top but still a long schlep up the steps, something to look forward to when returning from Adams...

Good place for the Mountain tour to start, also in terms of training, because it is built into a steep hill, and if you are unlucky you get the rooms at the highest point, which means a real test for the real trip... Food is ok, people very friendly, an effective place for people who stay one or max two...

We were touring Sri Lanka and stayed here as it is close to Adam's Peak which some of our group were doing overnight. We declined as we are both in mid 70s. We had the best sleep of our 2 weeks tour with comfortable beds - after we had removed the thick blue mosquito nets which we found claustrophobic. The...

We used Punsisi Guest house as our base camp prior climbing Adam’s Peak. We stayed here for two nights and the main draw is its location.
