Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Gypsypoint Lakeside is absolutly amazing. Very cosy and luxury appartement, in wonderfull national park. The land is fabulous. I spend an idyllic holliday. I hitghly recommanded this place and the host Peter was very nice, kind and welcoming person. He look after you and share all the best activity to enjoy properly all the area. We do Kayaking, pool, trekking, boat. You can see very close Kangourou, Parrots and many birds, and other wild animals in the Park. Gypsypoint Lakeside is an ablutly dreamy place where to spend holidays.

We just had 3 wonderful nights at this idillic peaceful location , about 15ks out of Mallacoota . Very clean accommodation, good bed (always take your own pillows) good kitchen and cooking facility. Our only problem is the stairs in the apartment, be careful as they are quite slippery in your socks, there is no anti slip on the stairs which needs to be addressed. Also there are a few steps from the car park as well which is a concern for some guests .

The gardens were immaculate and the apartments large and well maintaind and contained all that was needed for a short stay or longer. The views were magnificent overlooking the lake at Gipsy Point. You cannot do better than this place. It is isolated however and there we issues with poorTV options and internet that dropped in a storm out but go for the friendly service and great location and excellent apartments.

Have been coming here for 10+ years. Beautiful location on the lake with a wonderful team looking after the property. Heaps of great summer activities; the pool and canoeing are especially fun. Also year round activities such as bushwalking, fishing, boating and watching the wildlife are always fun. Will be back again!

I stopped here on the last leg of a 15000 km trip around Oz. it was just what I needed. Great rooms and walks along the river. Wifi non existent which was annoying. Restuarant was limited when I was there.

A most beautiful place in which to absorb the glories of river, bush and wildlife. We stayed in a comfortable Waterfront apartment, so close to the water that we could hear the pelicans' wings flap as they took flight! We had booked two nights, and just had to stay for a third - there was so much to enjoy. A very special experience.

If you're looking to get away these villas are great. We had a lakeside one with a beautiful view down to the lake across their native garden. Spacious with a great bed, full kitchen and comfortable furniture and a complete laundry. Take note that there are no shops so come prepared. We ate out and had our dinner "at home". Beautiful birds sounds and spotting a number of kangaroos.

The owner operator is so rude you wouldn’t want to stay let alone the price he charges $265 for a night and no breakfast or meals available such a shame as is a lovely location , the setting and gardens are also very appealing but the nearest mea is a 40 kilometer round trip

It was a wonderful stay. Very well run lodge, large apartments, very clean. a lot of birds. Very nice for bird lovers too. Well-equipped kitchen and nice barbecue area. The garden is well laid out. Good option for boat tours. The Lyrebird Walk is recommended.
