Cozy bungalows in a beautiful garden at the best beach on the island. The staff was charming, relaxed and very helpful. The food is good, quality motorbikes for rent at the resort and good internet. The bungalows was clean, but could use a little work inside.

Me and my family planned to stay for 4 nights on this resort but decided to prolong or staying since our son had such a great time on this place. Not only the cosiest location (huge green areas, excellent sea view) but also very friendly and helpful staff. Not the cheapest on this beach but was well worth it.

After talking to the owner on the phone, I booked 3 nights for my wife and me in a so-called deluxe bungalow for 2000 baht a night, room only. The guy would not move on price nor include breakfast. We expected good quality accommodation. In fact the room was dingy and poorly maintained. There is MUCH better quality nearby for...

We stayed at Holiday Beach Resort for two nights during our six-months trip to SE-Asia. The room was a basic (or standard?) room. It was relatively inexpensive and I must say that it showed. The bed sheets were partly missing, the room felt slightly unclean, and it was small. Lights were flickering, ac was loud and electricity went out from...

The resort sits right on the sea front with a large garden area that's great for kids to run around and play sports such as football. The garden and beach area are cleaned daily (unlike some other resorts) and the sea here is very shallow so it's ideal for young children. There is a problem with sand flies at some...

After a few months of hectic travelling, a week here was bliss. The grounds are filled with flowers, birdsong and strategically placed hammocks to maximise relaxation ;) The staff are awesome and the beach is lovely...clean, quiet and very warm water! We loved the food in the restaurant too -- you have to try the pork toast and yellow curry....

We discovered this place after a hotel fail elsewhere on the island. We were so happy we did. The set up was very nice. We had a large bungalow as the others were full. It is just a few steps up from basic, but had a fairly comfortable bed, working fan and AC, a mosquito net we didn't need, hot...

Koh Mak, holiday beach resort, what can be better. We have been here before and now Pom and Dara have really made a difference. Lovely food, as relax atmosphere as you like,,,,koh mak is still a lay-back island, and although the big guys are trying to get in, things are still as they were for many years ago..( we were...

“They are all good enough to make most people happy. Beware of sand flies they are vicious. They do a good job of keeping them under control here but other beaches on the Island are beautiful but infested with sand flies. Think Mosquito bite x 60.”
