My husband and I stayed in a deluxe studio and we were very impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of our accommodation. It was very comfortable being air-conditioned and we would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Woodgate again.

Our fifth visit, clean, comfortable, convenient. This property is well managed and maintained. Highly recommended for a relaxing retreat as a couple or with family. Close to the beach walking distance to shops and cafe.

We enjoyed staying in the 2 bedroom self contained villa. Extremely spacious and also had the convenience of a 2 way bathroom. Took along our pet dog and she loved holidaying with us too - especially going for walks along the beach! Would be handy if there was a second tv in the main bedroom but not a huge issue and the driveway for vehicle parking is also a little on the narrow side. All up, the villa was clean and presented well with everything you'd require for a very pleasant stay!

Following 2 deaths in the last 18 months and several years of caring for family, Dad and I needed a break. The house was well equipped and suited sleeping arrangements for dad/daughter. We had been upgraded to a deluxe but didn’t know! We wanted relaxation and we did get that. Internet poor which was a downside for me as a freelance writer. Our other problem was a power outage on our first night -unsure at first how to contact anyone to deal with it. We did end up leaving a day early though.

We’ve just spent 6 nights of wonderful relaxed tranquillity at Woodgate Beach Houses Resort. The villas are very comfortably appointed and fully self-contained. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and seem delighted to be of assistance. Just metres from the beach and peaceful beachfront paved walking tracks, the Resort is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. The entire town and its businesses bring a whole new meaning to “pet friendly”; places to eat, transport to and from, and those miles of brilliant off leash beaches. Woodgate has a lot to offer in peace and serenity and Woodgate Beach Houses Resort is the obvious place to enjoy it and access it from. A brilliant holiday; we will be back. Sue, Terry & Ziggy

We stayed here for 12 nights and it was fantastic. Whilst the houses are 13 years old, they don’t feel it. The location, only 40m to the beach, was incredibly convenient and the access to both Theodolite Cr and Burrum River were brilliant as we waterskied and fished. In between visits to beach, river and occasionally Bundy, Hervey or Childers, the kids spent time in one of the two pools on site. Lani and the team on site were amazing to deal with and really seemed to enjoy their job with no request to hard. A quiet and chilled little town, it’s well supported by a bowls club, pub, convenience store, small grocery shop and fuel, (located at the Caravan Park). We stayed 28 Dec to 8 Jan 2021 and will definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous beach accomodation. Lani made us feel so welcome and was so helpful and lovely to us both. Made it a special holiday x The beach is directly across the road with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The beach houses are well appointed and comfortable and very clean.

We stayed in unit 61 and wanted a chilled out quiet week near the beach and that's what we got. The unit was beautifully appointed and had everything in it you would need and more. We cooked and went to the beach and loved having drinks on the back deck. Its perfect ! Do it !

Great location opposite a great sandy beach. We booked a one room deluxe suite which was well appointed & roomy. Kitchen was well equipped with hot plates, electric frypan & microwave. A good size fridge & freezer. Bed was very comfortable. There was a lounge & dinning table. Our unit 34b had a deck with a small outdoor table & chairs some of the units had bigger decks. Our unit was in the middle of the complex & although most units seemed to be occupied the area was very quiet. Lani our contact at Woodgate Beach Houses was very welcoming & pleasant to deal with. We loved that our unit was pet friendly with an extra cleaning fee but worth it. The park is a 10-15 minute walk to the Woodgate hotel good for meals or just drinks overlooking the beach. There is a small convenience store nearby but only basics. There is a Fresh Grocery Store on the way into Woodgate which has a bigger range of items but still small. Woodgate beach is very long pretty sandy beach. Great place to visit. …

I liked the fact that it was not too far to the beach. The room was clean and tidy although very compact. I didn't like the fact that it was advertised as a one bedroom when in fact it was only one room. The bed, lounge, kitchen etc was all in one room. Not what I expected. Made it hard when one of us wanted to stay up late and the other wanted to go to bed. Also the fact that it is dog friendly, (which it is ) but there are no fences or any fenced area for them to run, so they had to be taken outside all the time on a lead to do their business. Overall though we stayed for 5 nights and it was a good break. Not much to do there but that is what we wanted.
