The cloud forest reserve is beautiful, we did 2 trails in the same day, easy walk, easy to understand maps. the hotel is at only 4 miles of the reserve, we took one of the cabins overlooking the gardens, just perfect the hotel is nice and quite, rooms are big and well kept we enjoy our stay

The hotel has great character. The wood gives it a small world feel. Rooms were small and plesant. Being in Monteverde no air conditioning but it is not needed because it cools down at night. My students really like the efficiency suite.

The rooms and hotel were average. It does have its own cloud forest trails and nature reserve. The restaurant is good. Hotel is close to town. The hot tub is pretty cool. Price point was spot on. I would stay here again.

This is the first time I've ever written a review but had such a wonderful holiday just felt I had to share. What an amazing hotel, we stayed in LOs Jardines & was well worth every penny. Our room was lovely The Gardens are beutifull and well kept. The most comfortable bed, we both slept so well. We had a... More

The story with this hotel started very unpleasantly but finished with happy end. We order the place 2 month in advance, as we knew it is high season. When we came there we realize that they have done overbooking and the two bed room that we ordered was not available. They try to give us a lousy place in some... More

It was a clean bed (no mattress pad) and hot shower. No wifi in rooms or at reception when I tried. Their patio was quite pleasant with lots of plants and flowers around, but the rooms were small and stuffy, Some of the rooms in their annex down the road were said to be very hot and noisy with dogs... Stayed with touring group for 2 nights. Put in annexe, it was shabby, no very clean, worn linen and a green sticker on the tap to indicate which was hot! The walls were so thin our friends next door could hear me asking my husband to bring me a towel. There were also 2 large parties of American teenagers staying... More

We stayed here in Feb 2015 as part of our travels around Costa Rica. It was pleasant enough. We were there for 2 nights. Initially we were put in one of the annexes down the hill which had been a house at one time. The room we got was large and spacious. On returning from our night out, the hotel... More
