Very clean rooms, ample parking, close to Thebarton Theater and eateries with very friendly staff, what else you need. This is the best place for those who want an affordable stay near the city and the beach as you can take a bus from right in front to either side for just 15 minutes.
Manager Leigh was only too happy to help and offer items to make the stay enjoyable. Great clean room. The room had all the essentials like toaster, microwave and kettle ... and of course don't forget the fridge! Secure off street parking and the location is what seals the deal. Very accessible to the city ... $10 in an Uber ... and great value for the money ... and in the infamous words of Arnie, we'll be back!
I had the pleasure of staying here and rather enjoyed it the kids had a great time the staff were lovely and more than accommodating the room was well equipped and very clean the beds were very comfortable very gd family motel wouldnt hesitate to stay there again the kids were sad to leave They loved the super fast wifi
Good clean room. good for workers. Rooms fitted with essentials, shower gel and hand wash provided. only bad point is the noise of planes flying overhead, but if you like planes can be seen easily. Secure off street parking
Conveniently located from just about everything is henley's best kept secret.Tucked away from the bustling traffic this little gem is by far my favourite place to stay when it comes to value for money, location location and much sort after relaxation. The staff are more than accommodating going over and above the call of duty to ensure our stay was perfect. Never once did it seem like an inconvenience or a hassle. Guest Rooms recently undertook a tasteful modern in the main living/bedroom area with new carpets, new modern chic furniture and a fresh paint to seal the deal. The cleanliness of the rooms could not be faulted. Massive accolades to all at city west Motel on a job well done. (I will be bringing the dog next time)
Nicely position halfway between CBD and the airport it's not a great place, looks a little bit rundown and could do with a bit of paint but everything is there if you need it: ironing board and hairdryer from reception. You get cold milk on arrival. There's a fridge, TV, microwave. Paint work needs touching up everywhere and the toilet needs bleach - lots of grubby marks on the switches. But at £68 a night and only have $5 Uber ride from town or the airport it ticked my boxes
The proprietor was brusque & less than helpful when we returned to our room at 10pm to find there were no towels despite leaving our towels on the rails to indicate they didn't need changing - as per the printed instructions in the unit. I enquired about breakfast (as advertised) but was advised to go to a cafe. There were no tissues provided, no waste bin in bathroom, just a jug, 2 cups (no saucers), 1 teaspoon & 2 glasses plus a few sachets of sugar, tea & coffee. I will not stay there again. Kathryn Lai
This is budget accommodation at its best. Everything except the bathroom light worked perfectly and staff were generous with extra tea making supplies and extra linen. Beds were clean and comfortable. Car parking at the door.I stayed for a few days and chose this motel for its proximity to Thebarton theatre (across the road). Staff were friendly and helpful. One point deducted for slight aircraft noise (didn't bother me) and no bathroom light.
Good points of this motel : cheap, decent and good location (out of city centre but very near to the airport, amenities like coffee&tea making provisions provided, fairly strong wifi, good security, helpful staff Bad points : a little old, our room had a non-functioning air-conditioner We stayed here the night before we were due to leave Australia. Chose this motel mainly for its proximity to the airport as well as Henley Beach. Quite a good choice, had the air-conditioning worked properly.
Basic Motel and great value for the price. Its a bit away so one needs to take a taxi or bus to get to the centre of the town for anything. However if you desire to have basic stuff to eat, there are 3-4 places at 5 mins walk. The young man at the reception was a one man show, and helped me with everything- check in, to early morning taxi booking. The place was clean, and its a no hassle good experience stay during the ICC World Cup time. The place also has decent speed wifi.
