Good points: Very friendly & helpful office staff; our room was spotlessly clean and looked recently renovated/painted; very handy to public transport, CBD & airport; price very reasonable. Not-so-good points: Parking space is very tight, so if the motel is full and several guests have large cars then manouvering a car can be difficult. The flightpath is directly over the motel: didn't worry us because we didn't go to bed until after the airport curfew (approx 10:30pm); but if you want to go to sleep early you will need ear-plugs. Overall, it was very good value for a budget motel: we stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay again.

This is our motel of choice when we visit Adelaide. It is central to most of the city and only a short distance to the Adelaide airport.

The prices are reasonable and the rooms are comfortable. If you are attending any performances at the Thebarton Theatre, you can walk as it is located quite close. Also on a direct bus route in to the city.

The management and staff are very friendly, and we feel like one of the family when we book. Family friendly, accommodating small to large families in the larger rooms.

Conveniently located from just about everything is henley's best kept secret.Tucked away from the bustling traffic this little gem is by far my favourite place to stay when it comes to value for money, location location and much sort after relaxation.
The staff are more than accommodating going over and above the call of duty to ensure our stay was perfect. Never once did it seem like an inconvenience or a hassle. Guest Rooms recently undertook a tasteful modern in the main living/bedroom area with new carpets, new modern chic furniture and a fresh paint to seal the deal. The cleanliness of the rooms could not be faulted.
Massive accolades to all at city west Motel on a job well done. (I will be bringing the dog next time)

A major letdown, but then again, you get what you pay for.
Incredibly noisy because of the low overhead air traffic and the main road at the front door. Major privacy issues because ill-fitting roller blinds are installed instead of curtains, and car-parking issues to round it all off. And how can one forget the sheer lack of basic amenities, all of which makes the whole experience akin to a stay at a dormitory than a decent motel unit.

Nicely position halfway between CBD and the airport it's not a great place, looks a little bit rundown and could do with a bit of paint but everything is there if you need it: ironing board and hairdryer from reception. You get cold milk on arrival. There's a fridge, TV, microwave. Paint work needs touching up everywhere and the toilet needs bleach - lots of grubby marks on the switches.
But at £68 a night and only have $5 Uber ride from town or the airport it ticked my boxes

This is budget accommodation at its best. Everything except the bathroom light worked perfectly and staff were generous with extra tea making supplies and extra linen. Beds were clean and comfortable. Car parking at the door.I stayed for a few days and chose this motel for its proximity to Thebarton theatre (across the road). Staff were friendly and helpful. One point deducted for slight aircraft noise (didn't bother me) and no bathroom light.

Good points of this motel : cheap, decent and good location (out of city centre but very near to the airport, amenities like coffee&tea making provisions provided, fairly strong wifi, good security, helpful staff

Bad points : a little old, our room had a non-functioning air-conditioner

We stayed here the night before we were due to leave Australia. Chose this motel mainly for its proximity to the airport as well as Henley Beach. Quite a good choice, had the air-conditioning worked properly.

Basic Motel and great value for the price. Its a bit away so one needs to take a taxi or bus to get to the centre of the town for anything. However if you desire to have basic stuff to eat, there are 3-4 places at 5 mins walk. The young man at the reception was a one man show, and helped me with everything- check in, to early morning taxi booking. The place was clean, and its a no hassle good experience stay during the ICC World Cup time. The place also has decent speed wifi.

Recently went to a concert at the Thebarton Theatre and wanted somewhere to stay close to the theatre. This motel is 200 to 300 metres from the theatre, meaning I was back at the motel 5 minutes after the concert finished! There are also some excellent restaurants within very easy walking distance. The management were super friendly and helpful, especially when I locked myself out of my room. My room was adequate and clean.
