In a word...perfect. From the moment we turned up till the moment we left it was a delight. We stayed in the Sharwill suite, which is downstairs from the other rooms and has its own entrance. The room is wonderfully appointed with a bed so comfortable it is really like sleeping on a cloud!! My wife was recovering from major back surgery and said the bed was better than our own at home!! The shower was lovely and hot. There was a pod coffee machine, fridge, iron and all the other stuff you would expect. The setting is Idyllic, with wild life, particularly birds, abounding. The included breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Dave and Pam are excellent hosts and wonderful friendly people. Book directly with them for some great extras.

Best B&B for us so far. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Grounds were beautiful, rooms were very clean and tidy. Top marks to the hosts, they were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Already planning our next stay with them.

This accommodation deserves a 5+ rating from the moment we were met at the front door. Hosts Pam and Dave are the epitome of wonderful hosts. Everything about the accommodation is ideal, not only in terms of comfort and cleanliness but also its location and its stunning view over the valley, is a bonus. The extra touches such as port and chocolates and a lift to a local restaurant were very welcome, but even without them we would have been completely charmed by our stay. We loved it!

We have just had a fabulous weekend stay at Avocado Grove. The house is very comfortable and clean, with everything you could want or need provided. The views are amazing (especially at sunset) and Pam and Dave are some of the most hospitable people you could meet. There were lots of lovely little touches, like coming home in the evening to find the house heated and port and chocolates for everyone. We would all definitely stay there again!
