Just can’t get enough of this place. Another stay and absolutely faultless. Warmly welcomed by Pam & David to this beautiful peace of paradise overlooking the hinterland. Beds are amazing, rooms are spotless with attention to detail throughout. A scrumptious 5 star breakfast with local produce cooked by Pam and David will not only have your mouth watering but will set you up for the day. A must to stay at this place and we certainly rebooked as we left. Best weekend ever!

Just returned home from a welcomed break to the Sunshine Coast and stayed overnight at ‘Avocado Grove Bed & Breakfast’. Wow! What a relaxing, friendly haven located at ‘Flaxton’ which is near ‘Montville’ and ‘Mapleton’ to name a few and it was only a 15 minute drive from our family living near Nambour. We chose to stay one night and it never disappointed. Right from the clear directions given by ‘Dave’ when booking, to our beautiful welcoming by ‘Pam’, our lovely hosts everything was first class. Avocado Grove has over three acres of land and beautiful gardens with the Sunshine Coast Hinterland as it’s backdrop. With four rooms, three upstairs with two en-suited and one having a private, bathroom opposite it and a private suite, situated downstairs with its own lounge, bathroom, tv and patio, you are spoilt for choices! We chose the Reed Room with a comfortable Queen size bed, private balcony with seats and table outside to drink in the views. White shutters complemented the decor and a private en-suited bathroom was comforting enough, but it was the little extras like Sheraton towels, tea and coffee and biscuits and chocolates that made you feel like home. The top floor has a separate living area, with lounge, fireplace, air conditioner and dining table and tv to be used by guests. This opens to a gazebo with spectacular views of the hinterland and breathtaking sunsets. There’s a fridge with complementary water and you can store your goods to retrieve anytime. On arrival we were greeted by Pam and urged to have afternoon tea on the veranda with flourless, orange cake and this truly made us feel like family arriving home after a long drive. After refreshing ourselves, we left to explore the nearby cafes only a few minutes away and chose an Italian Pizza place. It was enjoyable and easy parking and the Mapleton tavern was opposite, if you prefer a pub like meal. On our return, we were greeted by a beautifully presented nightcap (liquor and more chocolates) to finish our evening. After a warm, comforting sleep we readied ourselves for their famous breakfast, served from 8-9:30 am on the gazebo. This was the icing on the cake and truly worth the stay, as Pam and Dave excelled in presenting an array of fresh fruits and yoghurt, followed by our choices of smoked salmon on poached eggs, bacon, spinach and relish or home made bacon and eggs with toast, with plenty of tea or coffee to wash it down. ‘Avocado Grove’ is a first class B & B in my opinion and we can see why they have won awards for their excellence. The little touches added to the immaculately clean accommodation and their friendliness and professionalism make you want to return over and over. Also it is situated close to all tourist venues and we are sure you will make it your home away from home! Well done 😊

Another return visit to what we consider to be the best B&B. We stayed in The Sharwill Suite this time which is downstairs and the largest of the rooms. All the rooms are fabulous, spotlessly clean, amazing beds and 5 star linen. But it’s the hospitality offered by the hosts, Pam and David, which makes this place so special. Both are exceptional cooks and it really shows. Breakfasts are quite special and it’s all the extra touches that makes this place really stand out. Most guests are return visitors and if you stay here you will understand why. Thanks again for another brilliant stay.

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing location off the main Montville Mapleton Road at Flaxton. Very close to Flaxton Gardens where we attended a lunchtime function. Our Hosts, Pam and David very kindly offered us transport to and from said function as the roads were not too wide in places. Their attention to detail was amazing, everywhere was spotless, our room, ensuite, lounge/dining area and verandah. Each room had their own private verandah area with comfortable seating. Breakfast was the freshest fruit salad and the hot breakfast, delicious. Thank you David and Pam for going well beyond the the expected for our 2 night stay. We shall return.

The position is in a quiet setting with lots of native birds among the surrounding trees. We stayed in the Sharwill suite where we able to enjoy our Wine and cheese outside our room in view of the garden .. The room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Pam was able to provide our dietary requirements. Close by are restaurants and other activities. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

We stayed in this wonderful BnB. The views and sounds are great for getting away from it all. The family is really friendly and put on a great breakfast. You are in a lovely part of the Sunshine Coast hinterland and within a short distance of great restaurants and other amenities.

In a word...perfect. From the moment we turned up till the moment we left it was a delight. We stayed in the Sharwill suite, which is downstairs from the other rooms and has its own entrance. The room is wonderfully appointed with a bed so comfortable it is really like sleeping on a cloud!! My wife was recovering from major back surgery and said the bed was better than our own at home!! The shower was lovely and hot. There was a pod coffee machine, fridge, iron and all the other stuff you would expect. The setting is Idyllic, with wild life, particularly birds, abounding. The included breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Dave and Pam are excellent hosts and wonderful friendly people. Book directly with them for some great extras.
