We love staying at accommodation close to the beach. This Hotel is the best. You've got sea view, smoking rooms, there's also a water park for those hot summer days. The Casino also offers relaxation for the adults and the kids corner has got games, food stalls and ten pin bowling. There's a cinema where you can watch your favorite...

I really enjoyed the stay at the Wild Coast Sun. The facilities were good, and much to do. A few things prevent the rating from being higher: 1. No ice dispensers on the floor - one has to go to the second floor to collect 2. Not possible to get wine glasses or a cock screw to be delivered on...

Really enjoyed the facilities on the resort. Kids enjoyed the kids spa as well as the water park. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful although service from the dining staff was a bit disappointing. Only Veg eatery on sight is Fish Aways and service is extremely slow with many items on the menu not available. Overall even though the weather...

Our family stayed at the Wild Coast Sun on 15-17 Jan and booked a family room. The bedroom had a damp musty smell which we took note of as soon as we entered, cockroaches in the mini bar compartment, air con not working efficiently, cigarette burns on the bedroom floor rug, mildew build up in the bathroom and moss +...

My wife and I took up the offer to stay for a weekend and because our VIP Coordinator booked us in for free for the weekend we had a great time on the golf course as well as in the casino. We were very well looked after and it's always a treat to go there for a weekend. Great food...

Classified as a 4-star hotel; how is this possible? Beach facing room cost 1500 rand. Nice enough comfy beds and bathroom, and that's the sum total. No brochures in the room marketing the hotel or area. Room service options very dismal, and only provided by the antiquated Spur restaurant. Housekeeping ridiculously charges 25 rand for ice!! Service very mediocre, despite...

My family and I were on a road trip and fortunately when we wanted to rest we were in Port Edward. We followed the signage to Wild Coast Sun Hotel and they were fully booked for the December Holiday. The reception desk asked us to wait for an hour in case there were any booking cancellations. Within an hour we...

You can't come back to a good place turned bad to recreate old memories. I remember when the wild coast sun had a big casino, great restaurants and wonderful atmosphere....just a drive away from Durban was like having a holiday in a foreign country. It's not the same...

This is a nice getaway as it's only 1hr30min drive from Durban. Very good hotel with average service. Restaurants are limited. Casino on the premises. Rooms are great and priced good. Highly recommended.

Dinner in the casino eatery (Chicos) on first night not edible (over cooked buffet left stewing for hours, very limited selection), reception staff argued with us on check out as we did not want to pay for food we could not eat. MVG card did not work to obtain promised complimentary soft drinks despite several attempts to resolve. MVG member...
