The accommodation is by no means luxurious, but it is neat, comfortable and tranquil. The floor in the cabin is grubby in such a way that you cannot kick off your shoes and walk around as it feels yuk; it needs a machine taken to it to for a deep clean and polish. The staff were very pleasant and helpful...

Our family had the wonderful opportunity to stay over at Zizi Lodge for a weekend. We were welcomed by friendly and very helpful staff and treated to a welcoming cup of cappuccino on the house. The wooden hut where we stayed was clean, stylishly decorated and surrounded by natural bush with abundant birdlife.... we added three new birds to our...

If it were just up-to the attitude of the staff I'd give them 5 stars. They are brilliant! The rooms are clean and decent, need a coat of paint and a few updates but otherwise decent. Food is terrible and the reason I likely won't return. Stay , chat to the staff but don't eat in rather eat out

As a travel agent I received a special for Zizi Lodge, a rate I could not refuse. So my family and I enjoyed an amazing, peaceful weekend away with this super team. We then decided to go back to enjoy the amazing hospitality for our farewell weekend away with close friends and family. We booked out the entire place and...

What an amazing weekend away, friends and family together we booked out the entire lodge. On arrival we were greeted by Elizabeth and welcomed in such away that I felt like we were at a resort overseas. Our bags were taken from our car to our log cabin and we were shown around with a welcome ice cold fruit drink....

We just had dinner at Zizi's and it was delicious. The place is beautiful and well taken care of, with a view of the sea from the patio. The food was quite good and the location was convinient to the backpackers we were staying at. The service was friendly and very accomodating but not quick, so this might not be...

Hi Sharolin, thanks for your Zizi Lodge review. Although the service might not be at the pace you are accustomed to in cities, it provides you with a time to reflect and enjoy the unique coastal forest setting of the restaurant and helps to create the lay back atmosphere of the KZN South Coast. You are always welcome to experience...

Leisure Bay is a very small hidden unspoiled paradise, just to forget the daily stress and enjoy the nature without being in masses of tourists. Per incident we found the Zizi Lodge and get the offrer to stay there in the tented suite. Don't expect a huge 5 star Lodge as in a private game reserve. Zizi Lodge is a...

A really relaxing place to come and forget your worries for a while. Happiness, the manager and her staff went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Every staff memeber introduced themselves and asked if we needed anything. The food was excellently prepared and served. There is a lovely birder viewing spot near a small dam, just a 10...
