People commented on the excess of pine. In my opinion it adds to the warrmth of the whole hotel. Some commented on the entrances to rooms looking like closets/cupboards; they do, but it is a very clever way to maximize space inside the rooms. Some commented that the food was like a boarding school's fodder. Even though it was a... More

Like the majority of reviewers I found this to be gem of a hotel in a spectacular setting and complete with it's own Saint Bernard dog. There were quirky little things - such as the cupboard like room entrances - that added to the charm. I can not agree with the recent reviewer from "Royal" Tunbridge Wells with regard to... More

A beautiful hotel situated on the Stelvio climb ( in turn 47). Nice spacious rooms with comfy beds. even though we arrived very late (after midnight) due to traffic the owner was very friendly when we checked in. Breakfast was very good and friendly owners.

We booked this hotel purely on location since my husband planned on cycling Passo Stelvio first thing in the morning; however, after arriving we regretted not having more time here. And a very big thank you to Anna who stayed hours past her shift awaiting our arrival. Many hotels we stayed in during our three weeks in Italy claimed to... More

After a short ride you reacha gotel with spectacular views to the Ortles and Madatsch! Rooms are refurbished and very clean and the spa area amazing at that altitude. Restaurants deserves a deep renovation, but the half board is very generous and dishes are tasty!

Our stop before driving the Stelvio Pass. The staff were all brilliant & friendly, especially our waiter for the evening meal. He was so pleased to be talking to English people, he made us feel extremely special. The views are amazing. The hotel was clean & although the room had a lot of pine, it seemed very fitting for the... More

Impressive hotel from the exterior interior was unusual I've never seen so much knotted modern pine the room was clean and pleasant meal was a set meal and reminded me of school dinners many uninspired courses Very little English spoken one member of the staff was extremely helpful parking was difficult but then it was on a mountainside with hindsight... The hotel is brilliantly designed, easy to access and staffed by capable, very friendly staff. Food at lunch was just what we wanted and the evening set menu, while more than we could eat, was exceptional. The Hotel allows you to soak up the incredible location. Pool, sauna, etc. are all great and the whole hotel is immaculate. This is... More

We stayed one night prior to driving on the Stelvio Pass. The location is so picturesque with snow capped mountains and clean air. We paid for half board meals which included a 4 course dinner at 7pm and buffet continental breakfast. The food was good. The rooms were of good quality, very comfortable and clean. No wifi in rooms but... More
