As a professional cycle tour operator (Bike Adventures Ltd) we can't speak too highly of this hotel - excellent facilities, wonderful staff, fabulous food and a great location. The Bianchi hire bikes are first class and the friendly knowledgeable guides will take you on some stunning rides. Don't hesitate - stay here!!
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. We booked 2 nights with hotels.com, Wednesday and Thursday night. They called us on Monday morning asking if we were really going to go, we were very surprised, it's the first time a hotel does something like this. Anyway, we told them that we were going for sure. After a very long train journey, we arrived exhausted and the receptionists tells us that our room is not available. They said there was a problem with the room and they are unfortunately fully booked, but, they can put us in the hotel next door, which is, according to her, of the same category. We checked the hotel next door online and the reviews were very bad. It looked old and horrible. We insisted they find another solution but nothing. They didn't even offer us a refund or any other kind of compensation. We had to carry our luggage alone to this other hotel ( regardless of the fact that I'm 6 months pregnant and was travelling all the way from Switzerland by train to get there ) they just dumped us there. We got a tiny dark ugly room, the toilet was so small, they built the shower in a way you could brush your teeth, use the toilet and shower at the same time. A nightmare. I asked for at least a better room in that hotel. They had none. This other place was absolutely not of the same category, it was run down, sad and super noisy, you could hear everything from the neighbour's room and when people walked in the aisle. I was hoping for two relaxing nights and instead this is what we got. This ugly hotel is called Serena and it belongs to the same owner. We are sure that what happen is that they gave our room to someone that booked directly with them and not with hotels.com and probably someone that also booked a longer stay than us. The receptionist was arrogant and did't care at all. The management only pretended they were trying to solve the issue, but the truth is that they were just taking care of their personal business and thought it's no problem to dump us in that rat place next door for 2 nights. We go to Rimini every summer to meet friends who live there, we will NEVER AGAIN book the Oxygen and neither of the hotels that belong to this owner.…
We have visited Rimini several times but this was our first time staying in Oxygen. For those looking for the perfect family hotel look no further. In truth this is a 4* hotel in all but name and has the feel of a classier hotel than the norm in Rimini. Rooms and food all excellent. Our kids loved the kids club and the staff were amazing. As were the cycle guides Luca and Matteo. I rode every day and hired excellent bikes. The riding is beautiful. We have already booked to return.
We stayed at this hotel for just 1 night as it was a quick visit to Venice and what can I say the hotel was immaculate! Customer service excellent and spacious bedroom , beautiful big bathroom with walk in shower and breakfast my goodness!! I really wish could have stayed a little longer as we had an early flight so didn’t enjoy as much as I wanted . Definitely recommend this hotel fantastic vibe and excellent location.
We stayed in Hotel Oxygen for a week in August. Our room comfortably slept five of us and made good use of space. The cleaning was excellent getting rid of the after effects of beach and pool. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Activities and entertainment were in Italian, but translation was provided and we were warmly included. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the beach and pool. It was a great stay.
