The studios were well appointed with microwave, refrigerator, TV, aircon and comfortable beds and seating. Situated about a km uphill from Bondi Beach, the location made for pleasant walks to Bondi Park and other beachfront facilities. The downstairs laundry room and more than a few upstairs clothes lines were particularly helpful and well used. The fenced pool was in the center of the parking area and was not large but could be used for some short laps. Poolside shade came from a partly domed structure covered in sheet metal with a pattern of holes everywhere. So it certainly didn’t seem very shading at all. Although housekeepers were only to do rooms once a week, staff were willing to exchange towels when requested.

It was ok, the bed was comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities were good and a nice big fridge. The wardrobe space was good. The blinds at the front and the mirrored wardrobe’s meant on an evening once it went dark the room was not very private and you could see in from outside. The locked gates at the front meant it felt secure, some of the neighbours on our first nights stay were little noisy. There was a pool but didn’t feel brave enough to use it, didn’t look that clean. Construction workers start at 7am meaning we were up a little earlier than planned. It was ok, overall Bondi wasn’t really our bag, I feel you can get better quality accommodation in other parts of the city for the same price. If you must visit Bondi then it’s a good value option. Cleanliness was good but the bathroom felt a bit grotty.

Old school motel style accommodation in a great location with secure off street parking- very rare in Bondi!
Walking distance to beach and all attractions. Pool very handy if beach blown out. Needs an update but good enough!

The unit was in a quiet location, it was spacious, beds comfortable, shower was good and it was just a few minutes walk to Bondi Beach where there was lots of choice of restaurants and shops. The 379 bus stop was outside the property and it was an easy 10 minute trip to Bondi Junction and Westfield shopping centre. Definitely good value

We stayed here for one night, it was clean with all the basic amenities, a kitchenette with cutlery, microwave, kettle etc. including hotplates for cooking if needed, however the biggest plus was parking at a location where its a luxury to have.
Economy stay, but great value for money.

The place is dated and tired. REALLY dated, with bathrooms probably older than me. The place felt ultra- basic. Maintenance not great- some lights not working. Location was very convenient for me though and it probably had the best car park in the area. You pay a lot for what you get…

Over first trip to Australia, we wanted to stay in Bondi before going touring. We didnt know what to expect, but The ultimate apartments felt safe and secure.
Quiet at night and equipped enough for what we needed for 4 nights. Close to shops, restaurants and of course the beach.
Beds and shower were fine, enough wardrobe space and kettle worked which was about all we needed to start our holiday.
I'd stay again if we make it back down that way.

Nice little cosy place to stay whilst in Sydney. Private front gates, open on to a nice car park with pool. The rooms are really nice and spacious. Only a short walk to the beach, shops and everything else. Would stay again if I ever visit again.

Can't complain for price or location, short walk to Bondi Beach. The apartments themselves aren't signed very well when trying to find them on arrival and the entrance is off a busy roundabout which made check-in a bit tricky. The apartment was quite spacious, but very dull. Bathroom could definitely use some work and an extra scrub.

Hi Julie! Excellent choice for heading to Sydney in October. You'll absolutely love it, and the weather will be on point! But yes, as you say I too believe you are worrying over nothing haha. If you are arriving that late, it may pay to flick management an email and arrange something for your late arrival. But having said that, they do have a buzzer for after hour access. I'd recommend contacting management, shouldn't be an issue. Hope this helps, and enjoy your trip!

Is there an airport shuttle service to Sydney Airport?
Answer from lisa b
newcastle19 contributions9 helpful votes
Sorry I have answered as if you are going from airport to bondi. either way, bus 400 goes from airport to bondi and return. alternatively other buses from main promenade in bondi to bondi junction then a train to airport, both would be cheaper than a shuttle or taxi unless there are a few of you. buses and trains are very regular.
