There was no way in when we arrived. Note on gate says check letterbox for envelope with your name. Nope nothing there. No bell or buzzer to get in. We were fortunate someone was coming back from shopping so we could get into the office....More
We have stayed here a few times over the past 10 years. The place is in need of an upgrade as it is now a bit tired. Still good value with pool and free parking just a short walk to Bondi beach. Save some of...More
I'm not a negative reviewer, but I will call a spade a spade.
I'll give this property one star for location and one star because I've stayed in worse, once, although that was a long time ago.

Stayed here 5th December until 8th December 2017. I was apprehensive about arriving at these apartments, after reading all the bad reviews but I was actually pleasantly surprised. If we returned to Bondi Beach, we would stay here again because of the cost and being...More
This is hotel that seems to barely tolerate guests rather than welcome them.
The atmosphere is that of a second-rate school camp rather than a hotel in one of Australia's premier tourist locations.
There were many instructional notices both inside and outside the room listing...More
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from
Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.

Hi Julie! Excellent choice for heading to Sydney in October. You'll absolutely love it, and the weather will be on point! But yes, as you say I too believe you are worrying over nothing haha. If you are arriving that late, it may pay to flick management an email and arrange something for your late arrival. But having said that, they do have a buzzer for after hour access. I'd recommend contacting management, shouldn't be an issue. Hope this helps, and enjoy your trip!

Sorry I have answered as if you are going from airport to bondi. either way, bus 400 goes from airport to bondi and return. alternatively other buses from main promenade in bondi to bondi junction then a train to airport, both would be cheaper than a shuttle or taxi unless there are a few of you. buses and trains are very regular.
